It's frightening that some people care so little about current events that they can't be bothered to read the extremely concise explanation given by wikipedia. But I'm sure most people aren't like that. Best scenario is that it's just a joke.

Wait, didn't Obama promise to veto the Bill and then just sat back and did nothing to oppose it? So in a way aren't they correct, it is Obama's fault SOPA has gotten this far because he hasn't opposed or stopped it?

The final stage of a bill being made law is when it goes to the President. From there, he can sign it or veto it. He can't do anything one way or another until it gets to him.
