Well, a censored, non-functional net isn't really more than what those people deserve. But then again, what more would they ever want?
To be fair, Obama (and especially Biden, the gaffe machine himself) have a ridiculously pro-copyright stance. Biden has actually compared casual file sharing to smashing in the window at Tiffany's and walking out with the diamonds. The only reason he's not backing SOPA right now is because he knows it goes too far (or he knows we know, at any rate) and is more of an open censorship bill than and anti-piracy one.

Obama as the head of the nation has a responsibility to make sure stupid arse things that are so obviously violations of the constitution don't get passed and to speak out against them. Cept he is as corrupt as the rest of them so never hold your breath for any of them to actually do their job and not sell you out to whatever company wants a monopolistic advantage that day.
