People that don't use an IPod what do you use?

I used to have an RCA Lyra. I don't know what model it was, but it was about as large as a Zune and required an AC outlet to charge. After a few years of usage it died without any clear reason. For a while I used my PSP to listen to music, but then my PC folded its arms and decided it didn't want to transfer data to USB devices anymore.

So now I don't listen to music outside the house. When I'm on a long trip I prefer to read anyway.

4 Gig Sony Walkman, yeah Sonic stage is a bit of a pig to work with but it's not so bad I can't work with it. Besides the Walkman itself has been dropped in my cat's water bowl and once fished out and dried with a towel still worked perfectly.

2GB Sansa Clip. I especially love how I can listen to the radio on it (although I only listen to radio for the news), and record my voice on it.

I've got a Zune. The only problem I've had with it was with a software update that required me to wipe my Zune, but in the 3 years I've had it there have been no other problems

im on my third sony walkman mp3 its not that there bad it just that im really bad at taking care of them killed the first one my crusing it after coming off my bike well the mp3 player was ok compared to the whole right side of my body 0.o killed the second one by leaving it in a wet tent worst thing was tent wasnt even mine and the guy in my tent was perfectly dry dam you alcahol and your abillity to make me agree to stupid things.

Sansa Fuze, about 2GB I think. I don't have a huge library (about 225 songs at the moment), and I don't watch music videos too often. It was pretty cheap and it gets the job done.

It does the trick, though to be honest I don't really listen to music on the go much.

I had an Ipod Nano I won in a contest. In my opinion it was the best MP3 player I had used, but now I have given it to my father and am currently using my cellphone as a MP3 player aside from it's other uses. It's a Nokia N81 8Gb so... Look let's just say I have 2 days and 10 hours worth of music in there and it isn't full yet ok?

No... I get a good 5-7 hours depending on what I'm doing with it...
