My pleasure, I actually thought about this thread when I found that article and was surprised no one had picked up on it before.

This is why I started the thread, the internet battle to stop piracy is getting a lot of press, but I think the fight against erosion of privacy on the net is just as important if not more so. It is going to be the next battle after he piracy stuff has died down.

Calling this an argument is insulting to the real thing. This is the government saying we want to know everything about you so we can control everything more easily. Plus i dont need the pentagon knowing that i make some explosives for the 4 of july.
