Have none of you considered the possibility that he's a professional killer, using those sunglasses to keep his eyes dilated so he can go from dark to light environments with minimal adjustment time?

(That's actually why pirates wore eyepatches, so they could quickly go from belowdeck cannon tending to abovedeck melee fighting with minimal adjustment times. They'd just switch which eye the patch was on when switching environs.)

HAHA! I see what you did there. XD

My friends and I will wear them somtimes just to be funny. We'll walk into somewhere and if someone ask why we're wearing them, we say its cause its mandatory in flight training school you have to wear them till you become a licensed pilot. Then they're surgically attached to your head.

Usually gets a few laughs.

I wear my aviators whenever I want really because they act like more of an accesory than a practical article of clothing.

When I was younger, as in 5 or 6, I had to wear sunglasses all the time because my eyes were messed up and very sensitive (I don't remember exactly what it was), and my aunt has that problem also. So, it doesn't ever bother me when I see someone wearing sunglasses in a seemingly inappropriate situation. Besides, it made me look like a complete balla.

And even if he is just wearing it as an accessory, it's not really any weirder than, say, those Fidel Castro-esque hats I've seen some women wearing. Fashion is bizarre, just accept it.

I personally wear my sunglasses most of the time. I actually just got back inside and its overcast and I definitely wore my glasses, and if I am somewhere I don't plan on being at for very long I will just leave them on.

Also: hangovers and searing at girls while w/ my gf... ahh the magic of sunglasses.

I used to wear sunglasses all the time.
For these reasons:

1) I'm autistic, and it was my way to avoid eye-contact.
2) It worked soothing, calming me down.
3) I looked good with one.

x) No-one can see where you are looking.

I like watching sunglasses to parties so I can sit around and stare at people without them realizing. Also your band's not cool unless you're rocking some cool shades whilst playing. This is a rule.

I wear my aviators when its overcast because even then its still dangerously bright outside.
I sometimes forget to take them off when I go inside, too.

The only 'wrong' time that I have worn sunglasses that I can think of was one cold sunny day earlier this spring.
It wasn't that wearing sunglasses was bad, it was that combined with the coat and scarf I was wearing, I looked like a sex-offender.

I was sort of tempted to go stand outside the fence of a kindergarten, just watching...

I usually think that anyone who wears sunglasses, except on sunny days, are just creepers who want to leer at people without them being able to tell, definitively, that they're staring.
Yep, that's why I wore them my two horniest years in high school. That, and I'm not a morning person, but grew up in a damned sunny place. Morning sun would sting my eyes walking to school.

Also, as others have mentioned, it helps to cover up when you're on not-entirely-legal substances. Fortunately, not everybody can make the connection dilated pupils<->LSD. I say fortunate, because I don't own sunglasses anymore.

Is he also making videos for the Escapist with low production values and poorly-thought out opinions?
Hm, the only time you get to see him is his show on screwattack. So, we don't know if he's wearing sunglasses or not. His shows on this site are made up of pictures.

Well, I used to wear them all the time. When I was badly suffering from sleep problems and I had heavy dark bags under my eyes. They were hideous so I just wore sunglasses. Though it did feel silly a lot of the time, but some people just like wearing them.

I wear these special lenses that darken under UV light. Unfortunately, it takes a while for them to clear when I go indoors, so for about a minute it looks like I'm wearing sunglasses indoors.

I did have to wear sunglasses indoors once. I was late to a physics class and I could not find my regular glasses, so I had no coice but to grab my prescription sunglasses. Nearsighted. Can't see a thing beyond 6 inches from my face.
