You can do "Dual Wield" a weapon and a plasmid now, right?

So, can I dual wield Telekinesis with a Shotgun? Or no, because a shotgun is kind of two handed. Hell...IS there a shotgun?

You're a big daddy so you can easily withstand the recoil of a shotgun :p
The combat is very fun A bit chaotic from time to time regardig plasmid and ammo switching imo.

SWEET! I freaking love Telekinesis.

Which is why I chose Adept in ME2 as soon as a realized that cooldown timers are now incredibly short.

As has already been said, yes you dual wield with a plasmid in your left hand and a gun in your right. And it is awesome.

Shooting sucks now. Being forced to toggle between my SMG and Pistol is annoying. Biotics are much better now, though. With Warp being much more offensive, lowering of cooldown timers to a mere few seconds, and the fact that the game doesn't try to punish me for not playing Soldier, like the first game did.

Seriously, all of you who play Soldier have no originality.

You always dual wield. In one hand you have your plasmid, in the other you have your gun. It typically leads to scenarios like this:

Yes..yes you can. Need to get this game on PC though. I rented it for a console that will go unnamed just to check it out, and rapture is so visually busy (and my tv's too big) that it hurts my eyes. Plus mouse and keyboard for the win. It's pretty cool though, pretty much what i expected it to be. Story seems a bit thin well not for an FPS but in comparison to the original. Which yes i know isn't fair to do.

You are silly if you assume that everyone has a PC that can run it. BECAUSE I CAN'T!

But I can cut down swarms of enemies with ease.

But you chose the default class. You can't lift enemies into the air, where they float helplessly at your mercy. Begging you not to use Warp to explode the biotic field already around them for bonus damage on top of Warp current power level. That said, Vanguard's cool, too. It just doesn't have Throw...or I would totally have played a Vanguard.

Sure you can. That's what your allies are for. You set them to never use their own powers and that way you have access to everything they do as well as everything you do. Seriously, if the AI ever uses a power without your say-so, you're doing it wrong.

The reason to play the soldier is because, while it's easy to use the biotics or tech of your allies, it's really tough to get them to play a soldier correctly, so you take that role for yourself.

Indeed you can, Though the best combo I'd say is a bit of Winterblast and Drill. Esp with the Drill Dash ability. Go and get the game now =P

Oh its like that is it?

Or perhaps its so I can get the assult rifle achievment so I can use the Assult rifle with any other class. Didn't think of that not did you ;)

Yes there is a Shotgun, only it's called the rivet gun and yes you can use any plasmid you wish to use at the time with any weapon. Even the Drill.

Yes, and yes. (By the way, there is both a rivet gun and a shotgun.)
