I dont have that many names (well, unless you count the whole christian-naming scheme)

So i have a question for all you people with 4 (or more) names:
Where your parents indecisive, pretentious or just following some family tradition?
Why the hell would you need that many names anyway? Nobody will ever call you by all four of them. (Your mum doesn't count)

According to my parents, your name is as long as you can trace your family back, adding the previous woman's maiden name each time. At least in the part of Mexico they're from. I don't know if other parts of Latin-America are similar.

Anyways, I have 10 names.
Rafael Alejandro S. C. R. G. M. D. P. M. XIV

Of course, only the first three are my legal name.

Daniel Richard Anthony Reed.

Which literally translates out to "God is my Judge, I am a strong ruler worthy of praise, and a pointy bit on wind-based instruments."
