I find it impossible to talk to shy people. Since I don't really care what most people have to say, I don't ask. Since they are afraid of talking, they don't ask me anything.
We stand there for a few moments and drink up the intense awkwardness of the whole silly thing and then shuffle apart.
I might ask them one or two generic questions, but the answer is normally dull, and I'm just being polite.

There is a girl at my university that is both Vegan and a Protester against absolutely anything Animal and Sports related.
She used to be with one of my friends so i'd always have the old "Hey, how are you and --- doing?" but now they're apart and she is the hardest person EVER to talk to.
She has this really hard laugh to decipher too, you don't know if she's serious or faking it.

that's EXACTLY what I meant. I just forgot to put the 'think's they're right all the bloody time' in there.
I had to work together with someone like that. she copied wikipedia, switched around 2 words per paragraph and said it wasn't plagiarism because at the end of each paragraph she'd put "(source: wiki)". anybody with any form of academic experience (or common sense) knows that referencing sources like that will get your ass kicked so hard you can't sit for three months straight.
I stayed up till 3 in the morning to fix the damn report and after twenty mails she still didn't get it. she also had the mature habit of intentionally misspelling my name to show me she was pissed.

90% of those below the age of 20, A few of them aren't to bad to talk to, but get more then 2 of the arrogant dipshits in the same room and they think being loud and obnoxious and stupid qualifies them as cool.

Someone I have the unpleasant experience of managing who thinks that he shouldn't waste his life reading books. That he has life experience in excess of mine despite being ten years younger than me and he has a smart answer for everything.
Oh and he cares about beer and football in that order. The absolute killer is he cost me 30 points on my last employment review by lying to my manager. I hate this little bastard!

Trying to complain about anything when my big sister is around. She is some kind of passive optimist and always goes like "Well, they think it's right, you can't blame them" or "Well maybe *Some reason that makes no sense*"
She says that she doesn't like just accepting when people complain something, that is bad, and I can agree with her on that, you can't be all blind. But you can stop coming up with excuses if you don't even know anything of the subject or if it's just something that you really can't defend.
It's like if you where complaining about some guy who ran over your entire family with a monster truck and then she comes and says that maybe he just didn't see them. Those are things that she could literaly try to defend, even though it's obvius that you should'nt drive a Monster Truck in the road...
