Pep talk with Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw

As most of the people on the Escpaist (Escapees?) know, Yahtzee's debut novel, Mogworld, is set for a release in August, so he made a promotional video on his Youtube channel. Yes, this one:

Is it just me or does Yahtzee look a bit uncomfortable in front of the camera? The video was pretty funny, but, there were quiet a few awkward moments: it's like Yahtzee didn't memorize his lines, the video wasn't edited, and he kept looking at his computer, excluding the Q&A section of course.

As big a fan of Yahtzee as I am (I even pre-ordered the book), I think I could've done a better job.

Was I the only one who heard "He's an NPC." And suddenly thought he was talking about Angel Beats!? But I'm definitely gonna get this book, sounds like a very, very, very, very good book.

I actually prefered that to some of his recent ZP vids, nice to see him talking in person a bit more.

A little interested in checking out the book too but i didn't finish the last 3 i bought so maybe there's no point D:

This video actually got me slightly interested in the book though, so I might have to hook myself up with one. Oh, and +1 to Yahtzee for liking Douglas Adams.

Ah, sorry about that. I like it that way, though. His ramblings seemed more natural than the punchiness of ZP.

That doesn't mean I think I'll enjoy it, but I want to read it. Also, yes, it is good to see Croshaw outside of ZP. Would never have thought that when I first started watching it.

He started with rather old and stale so to say, joke, but hey, probably he must use every joke at some point.
I must admit that I'm very interested in this book, but I live in Poland, so the shipping prices probably would rape me as if I were young, pretty sister of a certain person with certain dream...

Anyway, I'm concerned with the bottle of wine standing text to the computer. It's empty obviosly, but Yahtzee didn't say anything about its phallic shape or about hitting somebody small and defenceless with it. Was he THAT nervous?
