I think we're losing the plot here, mate. I'm looking for monsters - beasties, brutes, freaks, creeps and all out demonic horrors.
I know the thread name is 'Perfect Creature', but I'm looking for monsters.

Hey someone else brought up Monty Python, not me. I do my best to never bring up Monty Python at all times (excluding right now of course).

Anyway if you were a farmer you might think differently about the devastating, dare I say it, even "monstrous" power of the bunny's breeding potential. Only one lot of 12 bunnies were imported into Australia by early settlers, these bunnies multiplied and now we've got the fuckers over pretty much every square kilometre of farmland in the country, destroying crops and breeding even more everywhere they go. And Australia is big, even though most of it is desert there's still quite a lot of farmland. If you want a creature situatiuon that's "monstrous", there it is, that's a lot more scary to most people than some alien thing which looks cool and creepy but is just out of someone's imagination, that's what I think.

We all have our worse nightmare creature... and for me, it is also my own repersation of my psyche:

Majora.

It is the ultimate personification of chaos; it wants to wreak havoc, inspire misery and fear, and destroy and consume, simply because in it's almost child-like words: "it's a fun game".

clearly mad, insane, yet sympathetic: in it's own psyche inside of the moon, it sees its'self as a bullied child, almost in a pitiful state.

The Motaba Virus from Outbreak.

A deadly, virulent virus from the jungles of Zaire. Early stages resemble the flu, with pink eyes, coughing and fever. In later stages, the fever rises as high as 108, and victims seize violently, break out in skin lesions and bleed internally, causing a dark rash on the skin. Motaba incubates in 24 hours and kills in 48. The virus is 100% fatal. There is an airborne strain of Motaba. There is no treatment.
It's goal is simple. Kill.
I don't mean to insult or offend, but you do know that that virus was based on a real one, right? Ebola, the subject of The Hot Zone, on which Outbreak was loosely based.
Yeah I know and yet, Motaba just scares me. Maybe because just how lethal its meant to be and the idea of it being weaponized is truly frieghtening. Plus, IT KILLED KEVIN SPACEY!!

HOLY GRAIL FOR THE WIN!

Anyway, I believe that the Alien I guess really is the perfect creature. It's strange how you didn't post a picture though...

Actually, how DO you post a picture? I can't remember...

You simply put [img7]Image Url Goes Here[/img7] without the 7s. Yes I mean the Image Url, the one with gif/jpg etc at the end.

The honey badger,
A creature born without fear and very little common sense.

Banelings, Banelings, Banelings ohhhhh!

For real though, its like bees, how they die when they sting you...

Except its a fucking ACID EXPLOSION!
They're like Creepers, but in Starcraft!

OT: The anglerfish. It's pretty much an unholy fusion of a desk lamp and a bear trap, and it's awesome.

I'd like to say the Predators but they havent shown themselves to be all that great.

Vampyres would be my next choice, but they've been turning into pussies as of late.

IT always seemed like an obvious choice, but I'm a Stephen King fan and IT is more personification of evil then creature itself and as anyone knows, personifications are impossible to kill cause they keep coming back.

I'd like to say a Wolverine, but thats real.

so... most perfect creature? Well, i cant say there is any. I wont go into the Cthulhu crowd. If I said anything, I'd say its the Crimson King of Dark Tower fame, cause he is earased from existence as humans knwo it but still lives on and is a beast from between realities, a creature that is an anti-god.

But the most perfect creature?
Tardigrade(Water Bear) - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tardigrade
http://thecontaminated.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/water-bear-2.jpg Its so cute.

With a close Runner up being the Wolverine:

But the Crimson King gets my vote for fictional:
"physical" (in the same sense as god has a physical form) form

But more so he is represented by a symbol and an ideal:

Oh, I don't under-estimate the potential apocalyptic power of the bunny-rabbit. I think a few Xenomorphs would sort out that problem, though.
Of couse then there's Xenomorphs loose...hmm.
In fact, just set H.R. Giger loose on the rabbits. That guy's mind is so fucking creepy they'd all spontaneously die because they know he wants to make hideous phallic sculputers of them and that really freaks rabbits out. Trust me.

I'm going to take the cute but dangerous route and say gizmo the mogwai(?). Sure he's cool but he spawns pure evil. So many people would screw up taking care of a creature that specialized.

I'm going to keep up this running gag until someone makes me stop.
I have no clue what that is.
Really? Huh...

Anyway, it's a Deathclaw. No, I tell a lie. Regular Deathclaws are smaller. This is a Legendary Deathclaw, from Fallout: New Vegas. It is basically the biggest and baddest alpha-male of the pack and capable of tearing even strong characters asunder.

Damned internets.

Picture made me laugh, congratulations on making it work!
Thanks man, I could never figure out how that worked. I thought it was just simple copy and paste...but I was wrong...
Is good pic.
I like it, too.
