Perhaps I underestimated the Pokewalker...

This happened to me overnight. I left the pokewalker on the table, tried to tranfer something into what was supposed to be an empty walker only to tell me I need to tranfer something out of it. So I did and I caught a Hoothoot somehow.

I felt more inconvenienced than anything.

I second this recommendation. Heart Gold is amazing. I'm in Kanto now, and loving every second of it. And i do track, which gets me tons of watts for the pokewalker.

You don't want Rare Candies. A level 100 through Rare Candies is far weaker than a trained level 100, thanks to the Effort Value system.

I'm a player from the Classic Gold and Silver, so I didn't know about that. Having only played r/b/y/g/s.
That must have been a feature since Diamond and Pearl? I'm in for a big surprise aren't I?
