Don't think that I'm defending COD here, not at all. Of any modern FPS game with multiplayer, COD is what I call "easy mode". It's just that I've seen enough threads on places like SRK in terms of fighting games where if someone has any form of gripe the de-facto response is the person "sucks". Getting a little tired of the whole dismissive, elitist mentality that some people have...that's no dig on you personally though. The nature of internet anonymity coupled with the already hostile "community" of fighting games and FPS alike is enough to eventually sour anyone's mood or desire to continue to play the games with any level of enjoyment.
Lol, i always defend CoD when i think someone is trying to hate on it (even though black ops was the last title i played online). People have gone off it after it's relentless yearly releases but they tend to slag the game off for things that made the earlier games great. Rather than say 'i got bored of playing the same-ish game' they try to justify their opinion by berating the game itself for suddenly being less than it was and that winds me up a little. Fair enough though, the community aspect to any game is enough to put some people off. I don't like being called a ****** anymore than the next person but i do find a strange glee in destroying someone who slags me off without any knowledge of who or what i am. Abuse makes me stronger and play harder so inadvertently the abusers are giving me the advantage.

As with all things, use the negatives to your advantage and you can succeed. That is a good lesson for all multi-player games, especially co-op.

That's why I don't play FPS games on PC. Cause the experience is frustrating and I fail a lot. But once I get Ghost on either a PS4 or Xbox One, I will have my fun. Believe it or not, some people play better with a controller and on a console.

i kinda never got into the whole online FPS. i enjoy FPS in singleplayer, even the raged on Crysis i found rather fun (one time experience mind you, i wouldn't play it twice, but first time was fun). but i never go for multiplayer. i tried it in few games, didnt work for me, found it either very boring (counter strike. i used "w" and left mouse button and were leading matches without any experience, over and over and over again. it got boring real fast.) or very random luck deal (COD4, though admitedly i played it years after the release online, so probably only hardcore guys were playing to begin with, so i had more luck with granade thrower than weapon).
TO each his own i guess, i can spend 16 hours straight with only food breaks on a space simulation, give me CS and ill be bored in 15 minutes.
