Well, I am really, really happy too see Persona 5.
And really, really sad to see it as a PS3 exclusive. I only own a 360.

Maybe they can pull a Dynasty Warriors 8 and release it multiplataform when comes out in english. Please, Atlus? Pretty please? Pretty please with a cherry on top?

Well anyway, maybe if the PS3 price drops a lot now that the PS4 is out I pick up for that and for Demon's Souls.

I got P5. That was all I wanted, so I am very, very hard happy. I honestly don't care what other spin-offs and side projects the series has, so long as I still get my awesome new persona game. Really looking forward to more news and vids for that one. :D

One thing that I really dislike about that dance game is that it is literally a waste of money and development time! There is no way game is going to recuperate it's cost simply because it's going to be released on Vita.

Fuck. I'm gonna need to get a ps3..... and a vita. Luckily I already have a 3ds.
goddamn, I'm excited now, and not just "new game hype" excited. This is like walking into a fetish shop and seeing your dream girl (or guy, I don't discriminate) looking at the same movies you want. I mean, a rhythm game for persona? sign me up, preorder, blam. a 3ds persona? Did these guys read my goddamn mind? followed by an actual factual p5 announcement? WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWOWOWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
that is all

DON'T EVEN TRIP SON!!! GOLDEN IS NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY, BUT THIS!!!!! IS VITA GOLD!!!

OT:
Persona 5 was announced. There we go, I'm ready, I'm hyped, lets do it.

Persona 4 Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold. Looks neat, loved Arena 1, so this is a sure fire buy for me.

Persona 4 3DS... I like it. I'd imagine it'll be a great spin off series made just for giggles.

Persona 4 Dancing All Ni- SYSTEM SELLER 2014 GG SONY. (In all seriousness its silly, it probably won't sell much at least not in the US... but its nice to know Shoji basically getting a game centered around the amazing music he composes)

No way man, rhythm games are huge in Japan, I bet it'll sell pretty well.

All I know is that I'm buying all of these, even the crappy dancing game. Thank God I already have all the systems for it. If they announced a Persona game on the WiiU I would have just shit myself in anger. Then again there's SMTXFireEmblem......fuck.

Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth
As if the revived Persona series hadn't already gone "kiddy" enough with their art style - compared to Lucifer's Call, Digital Devil Saga and Devil Summoner (thank you Kazuma Kaneko) - they have now decided to go full "chibi". I disapprove. I know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, the gameplay and story can still turn out to be good, but I reserve my right to say what I like and dislike - and I seriously dislike this art style!

Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold
I never even got around to playing Persona 4: Arena, so this is a big "meh" for me. I'm not that big on fighting games.

Persona 4: Dancing all Night
Speaking of genres I'm not that big a fan of... What baffles me is that it's a PS Vita game. I know those Japanese people are suckers for dance game like DDR, but isn't the "dance mat" peripheral one of the main reasons for the popularity? How are they planning to integrate that with a mobile game?

Persona 5
Well, what do you know, a completely NEW game? On a HOME console? PS3 you say? Well, I'll be a monkey's uncle! I just hope that the December 2014 launch is more or less worldwide. (Fat chance, I know.)

Yeeeeeeeees! Persona 5! Granted, I'll probably feel quite antsy throughout the next year (and the following months it takes to translate). But damn, I'm really happy this is finally going to see the light of day.

See, I would get hyped, but the Winter 2014 release will be in Japan. Which means add on another few months for the US, and then maybe another year/year and a half to that for us in Europe. So no hype from me until there is a EU release date in sight.
I'm still hyped, but living in the UK I know it will wear off by the end of the day. I'm SERIOUSLY excited for Persona 5 and Arena 2, but we'll probably be waiting till 2015 for Persona 5 and after the sales of Arena 1 (Which was entirely Atlus' fault to be fair), who knows if we'll ever get Persona 4 Arena here?
2015? Damn you're optimistic. The PS9 will be out and all PS3s will have been wiped out in a great war before we get our hands on P5.
I've always felt that Atlus were one of the better Japanese companies with their international releases. Apart from Arena of course.
Wasn't P4:A the only PS3 game to be fully region locked? I really hope they don't do it with P5 so I can just import it from America. However, due to Nintendo we're at the mercy of Sega with Persona Q.
The only disc based region locked game yes but apparently its the second overall with the digital only Japanese release of Joysound Dive being the first at least according to Wiki.

I to also hope no region locking is pulled this time or at least Europe gets a release thats not months behind everyone else for no reason I mean seriously what did they do on P4A to change it nothing thats what and what extras did we get the soundtrack?

Mostly hyped for P4A2 and Persona 5 although that trailer is devoid of all hype.

So... your party is five prisoners? Or is this metaphorical, escaping slavery to the mundane?
P3: Memento Mori (Remember that you will die)
P4: Reach out to the truth.
P5: You are a slave, want emancipation?

We shall see.

People aren't liking Persona Q.

More copies for me, then.

OT: I know this sounds like herecy, but I'm not all that hyped for P5. I know it'll be great and I will pre-order the super mega edition once it's announced, but I don't think anything will top 4. P4 is my favorite game of all time, and P5 is gonna challenge that. Will it give me maximum feels like P4 and make me cry more than two times? Time will tell, I suppose.

Also, I am totally getting P4: Dancing All Night. Shit looks so tight.
[sub][sub][sub][sub]and then there's P4: The Ulitimax and that looks okay I guess it looks practically the same as Arena [/sub][/sub][/sub][/sub]

Have you heard of Parappa the Rapper? Rhythm games are still fun with a controller. Though it looks just like Vocaloid's vita game which I found fun so I'll probably be the only person to enjoy it.

Though I'm a big enough Persona fan to get hyped over all the announcements, but OMG P5 IS FINALLY ANNOUNCED I DON'T CARE IF IT'S STILL YEARS AWAY I WILL BE HYPED ALL DAY EVERY DAY!!!

To be honest, Persona Q is just seens to be the weakest of the announcements, while the dacing game is so weird that strangely stands out.
I will pick out a 3DS soon so I might pick out Persona Q if the review are REALLY good, otherwise I am meh toward it. I really don't like the Chibi art style that Persona Q was going for it.

Huh, I've chosen a good time to become a Persona fan apparently. I still haven't played 4, so atleast I have something to hold me over for a while.

I'm curious where this goes. Perhaps it's a sort of mental slavery, and your freeing your mind? Or maybe it's freedom from various addictions people face? Maybe it's freedom from societies expectations? It's something like that I'm sure.

So is the new Arena game a sequel or a remake/upgrade? I was thinking of getting Arena after I finish Golden, but I'll just hold off for this if it's the "Ultimate" version.

All of this sounds pretty cool, though I'll probably only be getting Persona 5 at launch.
It's a full sequel. Arena is great, though if you haven't played Persona 3 I'd recommend getting that first (the Portable edition is on PSN). Arena's story will make more sense and you'll be happy to see returning characters from that game.
