Beating a friend of mine at Tekken - don't remember which one - with one hand, coupled with the fact that he owned it, played it extensively and I rarely play fighting games, it was a pretty memorable experience.

I don't think I can comment on all of these, but god damn there are some epic moments on this thread.

If only we could take video.

Mount and blade warband I had just proclaimed myself king and gave up my land so I had just taken a castle when An army of about 600 rolled in attack me I only had 60 troops at the time 50 crossbow men and about 10 foot guys I won the battle only losing my foot guys in the process
Using any modules? Because in some modules crossbow men are god tier who can kill any motherfucking soldier and their mothers with one hit.

That would explain your awesome victory.

Mine involve 50 Mountain Bandits against 10 lonely knights... We lose, but it was a most epic standoff. I manage to cut their numbers to a third before finally falling.

Gears of War 2, Horde on Bloodrive (4player over LAN).

after respawning from a failed round, one of my team went up the wrong set of stairs and is swiftly 'Downed'. Trapt on the other side of the map, surrounded by the Locust no chance of being picked up, he and my cohorts abandoned hope and left him for dead. But no, there would be no man left behind on my watch, i charged from the top of one set of stairs, down them, across the courtyard amongst cries of "No, leave him you fool", bringing down a few weaker enemies as i went, I was able to reach my fallen comrade just before he bled out, but this left the now vastly stronger horde between us and our team, seeing as how the round's tougher enemies had spawned and only half of the team had been concerned with holding them back. We had no choice but to sprint back, as we cleared the first flight of stairs my teammates back at our base saw that i had somehow revived our friend, began exclaiming my feat and rushed to cover our return where i was greeted as a hero.

Playing on Killing Floor. There were about 80-100 enemies left, my 5 team members were dead and I was a level 6 medic. I won.

If you play KF you know that's good.
Was this before or after the super awesome new medic gun?

It was in Bad Company 2, I was piloting one of the UH-60s on that Island assault map and I had a full crew. One of my friends was on the minigun and just mowing people down. Suddenly I hear him start freaking out. It turns out I had maneuvered in such a way that a rocket went right through the open door and out the other side without a single lost soldier.

There's a bunch more in Battlefield 3, but mostly just cause I play it more. Like this one time I got disabled in an F-18 and decided to go straight up, the guy was trying to go for the kill, but I ejected and he crashed into the now free-falling wreckage of my plane and I got a roadkill.

Then there's my kleptomania when it comes to jets in that game...

EDIT: Oh God, how could I forget about this. It was one of those 500% conquest games on Noshar Canals and I was in the T90. Our pilots were complete crap and they managed to give away our scout heli. I managed to take down 18 helicopters with the T90 that game without using anything cheap like the guided shell or canister shot. My friends now call the T90 my anti-air tank.

Cod: World at War

Was on hardcore team death match on Seelow Heights (the one with grainfields and the train in the middle). Going around with my usual loadout (Mosin-nagant bolt-action rifle, iron sights) kept getting sniped by someone. after the 3rd death I was creeping around and saw a small, brief yellow flash from a far away building. Instantly aimed down my sights and fired at where the flash had been. Counter-snipe headshot.

New one! 15/5 with solo top Fiora! Get dunked entire enemy team! You're trying to focus my insanely fed ass? Buh-buh-buh-Blade Waltz!

Black Cleaver procs should really not be applied during her ultimate. They are and usually all max stacks before it ends and it really hurts...

Irelia is still my favourite of course, but Fiora is my best. Plus she's so cute! Who's a little arrogant ***** queen? You are, yes you are! You adorable little french thing!

In World of Warcraft, my buddy and I were roaming around Eastern Plaguelands just doing some world PvP when we got word of an incoming alliance raid. We suspected as much because we kept seeing a few allies running along the path for no particular reason one by one (you know the people that went ahead of the raid group).

So we start following the path to intercept the raid group and come to this point in the road with 2 mountains on each side and a narrow path. Visualize 300 type scenario. We know the raid will pass through here so there we wait. Just me a Blood elf ret paladin and my friend a rogue (who is still the best rogue I've ever known in that game by far).

The raid starts coming through and my friend being ridiculous at this class is taking people out left and right, I'm helping with stun locking, healing and just being OP since my class was particularly OP at the time. Whole battle lasts for maybe 15 minutes but we killed almost the entire raid just us two.

tldr: Buddy and I took out a 40+ alliance raid on our own. Most epic moment in gaming for me by far
At the time?! Paladins have always been and always will be OP.

OT: I don't have any epic stories :(.
Pfft, you obviously weren't there for the pre sunwell patch then(/joke like assumption). Paladins as a whole sucked in comparison to other classes. All they were good at were healing, and maybe tanking kara/MH waves; well..at least until the aforementioned sunwell patch.

On the topic of baddassery and WoW, I felt pretty badass when my raid and I finally defeated the Illidary Council. Seriously, those guys were harder than any other boss we encountered at the time. Hell, they were harder than Illidan himself! When we finally got them down though...oh the adrenaline rush, the cheers of joy! Good times, my friend, good times indeed.

Got a similar feeling with defeating Yogg-Saron for the first time as well. It is a good feeling to know that hard work, determination, and skill paid off in the end, even if it didnt actually matter in the grand scheme of things. (for those curious, both of those were pre-nerf).

Edit: Oh I remember a video that I was in that one of my old guildies at the time made! I am the mage Tebrial.

Me and a friend were playing Battlefield Vietnam back in the day in a pub match. Turns out the enemy team was a clan, so while the rest of our team was running around trying to find tanks and not blow them up before they found an enemy, me and him quietly defended one of our bases with me in an MG nest and him sniping from above. Against 15 co-ordinated guys. To this day I have no idea how we did it.

He also used to be my spotter when I was nipping round in an F-14 dropping napalm on people and listening to Fortunate Son. Good times.

This isn't as totally awesome as some of yours. But I was only about seven and a half so it made me so proud and to this day I can't recreate it.

Playing TMNT Turtles in Time. Super nintendo with my TWO AND A HALF year old brother who could play well because he copied me.

He died twice. I didn't die at all...
And we beat the game.

To this day 23 now and still can't go throught without dieing.

was before I discover mods I put my swords on the castle wall so as the enemys climbed the ladder they are trapped and my archers just fucked them up and by the time My lil foot wall had fallen Most of them where dead and the rest where having to walk a path where my crossbow men are also in range of them then If the got close enough I took them out with my sword

Halo 3 on Sandbox, Team Snipers Matchmaking.

My three other team members were being little bitches and left after the enemy team was only 15 kills in. Me, being the stubborn bastard I am, decided this imbalance could be used to my advantage. I got about five kills and then died, putting me at a lead of two.

I ran up onto the dunes and hid next to a scaffolding in the dark. After about three minutes the Blues all started running around the midsection of the map trying to find me. I waited there for a bit and then started to pick them off one by one. Whenever they would spawn they would start running around trying to find some cover from my bullets that they just couldn't track. It took them about six minutes to find me, and by then I was leading with twenty-five kills. There was literally no way they could kill me enough with the respawn time to win.

I felt quite accomplished.

I was playing Halo: Reach multiplayer around my best friend's house. We were playing infection and it was really fun, but it got to the best part in one of the matches.

It was the usual except a few minutes later me and one random guy were alive. Zombies charging everywhere, he got downed. I kept on killing.

I kept killing them and killing them and screaming and screaming "come at me bro". Then I died...it was my best friend. I hated that day, but I ruled it for some time!

Two situations, two different games I can think of at this very moment.

Instance 1:

Shogun 2, I was the Date clan. I was attacked by a rival clan and outnumbered nearly 3 to 1. I took advantage of the surrounding terrain on deployment, putting my Spear men as a 3 row defensive line between two sections of forest with Archers safely behind them. I then positioned my Samurai and No-Dachi swordsmen in the forests on either side.

Apparently my small size made the games AI over confident, so they went straight into my front line of spear men. When engaged, I forced my spear men to hold defensive position, I then ordered my Samurai and No-Dachi warriors to charge from the trees. I broke the enemy morale and routed them in less than 8 minutes with my Generals mounted warband taking the flank.

Instance 2:

In League of Legends I have a liking to Master Yi. For anyone unfamiliar with the game, Master Yi relies heavily on auto attack damage, but also has an ability called Highlander wherein he is granted increased movement speed, slow immunity and massive attack speed buffs. The ability also cools down upon killing an enemy player.

It was about mid - late game, I charged into a group of 5 enemy players with only one person as back up. I killed one by one, refreshing Highlander after each kill. Got a Penta kill.

I shouted "THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!" in my house, as well as chat.

One time, I was invading a world in Dark Souls. To be a little more specific, it was the Painted Word of Ariamas. After the search for my quarry was finished, I found him in the circular chamber before the bridge to Priscilla, with a phantom guardian. Both he and his companion were spamming beckoning emotes at me as I rolled down, past the phantom and used my lightning shotel to slice through my quarry's shield.

Went down like a sack of wheat.

Many Mount and Blade times, but the most memorable was just after taking a city and a fort, I moved the bulk of my army to one and was moving the wounded to another when 6-7 enemy armies besieged the city. I ran through their lines, recruited as many mercs as I could. Because everyone was wounded, was about 20 of my men (with companions) vs about 900 of their men. Thankfully they could only come in 200 men waves, but that was the day that I discovered the "2hand sword whacka-mole city defence strategy".
Attacker comes up the ladder, shows head, CHOP!
Felt like a butcher, but after throwing off 4 waves, the armies dispersed. I think by the last wave all my men were dead and I was backing down the battlements, fending off the last few invaders.

One memorable X-COM mission; early on in the game, attacking a larger Sectoid ship. They mind-controlled about half of my squad in a couple of turns, taking out a few of my men with them (had to put them down), so with only 5 squaddies (who later turned out to have a high psi defence), managed to clear the entire ship and take out the Sectoid leader at the end. Being so used to having so many soldiers covering all points of attack, going through that ship with 5 men felt like the biggest achievement.

Saints Row 2. I was on a motorbike, being chased by a Ronin who was also on a bike. I equipped a pistol, put it into cruise control, popped a wheelie, turned the camera, killed the Ronin with a headshot, turned back and nitrous-ed away.

It was amazing. Perfectly executed.
