The guys I find attractive now, 2 years ago I would have thought were hideous.
I used to have short-as-hell hair. My year 11 prom, I swear to god I looked like Eddie Izzard.
Also I used to be all gothy/rebellious, and now I'm a bleached blonde, semi-fasionable clothes wearing type girl. In real life you'd probably all see me and think I looked like a *****. But hey-ho.

I used to play games online. God, was online multiplayer a waste of time.
This... a hundred times this.

I am so much happier now that I've given up Call of Duty, and I even have a new power-levelling Breton Mage and a Nord tank instead :)

You know...I'd listen to Kaiser Chiefs and Oasis over that. And I like metal. But then again, I can't stand metal where the vocalist sounds like that guy.
Early Grindcore like that isn't even really metal when you boil it down. It's closer to freeform jazz mixed with Crust.
I thought it was more akin to thrash beating the shit out of hardcore...

OT: I used to listen to the likes of Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park, these days if it wasn't influenced by Black Flag (and I mean influenced, not just artists saying it to sound cool) I'm having none of it.

NO! NOT JAZZ! Wait, I like some jazz. Very little though. I hate the modern jazz, where its feels like techno. I can't fucking stand techno.

When I was a kid I was fascinated by insects, I had very false ideas of what being a scientist would be like

Wait...you use a tank in Oblivion? Rather than a straight damage warrior?

How do you play it? I've rarely tried defensive nature characters.

EDIT: And yet thanks to my wonderful father I still listen to Queen despite hearing their albums regularly (EVERY SUNDAY) growing up. But they are awesome- live with it.

SUPER EDIT: Whoa... I think I actually quoted myself... I'm such a twat. Ignore me.

Now that's the jazz I know and love. Come to think of it, I never would've guessed as a little boy that I would love jazz in the future. Although that did start rather young, at the age of 12 when I got Simcity 3000. Was my favourite game for ages, and it created a soft spot for jazz, a spot that was only filled years later.

Ahhh, you're one of those stealthy gamer girls. You guys are really making it hard for us male nerds to find even a slightly geeky girlfriend, hiding like that.

The trick is, look at their friends, I may dress stealthily but the guys I'm always out with are clearly your friendly loveable geeky boys.

Pah! Tis nothing compared to Eric Dolphy!

Well yeah. But I just searched jazz on youtube and took the first one I liked that came up. Since that's one of the few videos I don't have ready at a moments notice.

Technically wonderful, but a bit chaotic for me. I prefer the likes of Freddie Hubbard:
Yeap, never thought I'd like that, but now I can't get enough of it.

Sure, the freeform jazz of the mid 60s was a definite influence on Grindcore, along with the emphasis on speed.

In fact, one Jazz muso, John Zorn, combined Jazz and Grindcore, to interesting effect.

Bill Frissel on guitar, interestingly enough.
That was....interesting. Although I think I have to bash in the head of the lead 'singer'.
