All this thread will accomplish is everyone looking really vanilla but saying they are "a bit odd but fun" or shit like that.

Most of you (including me) are not this

You are this

My power is to turn people I meet into a derivative of vanilla.
So what about me?

I'm a fucking globe trotting font of wit and wisdom...

I'd probably have the power to reduce peoples brain to globs of vanilla shit or something.

Based upon my personality, I tend to meditate whenever I can, and tend to daydream alot as well when I'm meditating.
I think my ability would probably be that I could summon creatures and other objects from my mind into reality.

My Aspergers would give me the power to solve any logical or mathematical problem, but it can't be in a way that someone else has solved it before.

I'm very argumentative, and especially love debating topics I know nothing/i] about, so my power would be to win every argument I have.

I could dissuade criminals by talking them down, persuade a person dying of a gunshot wound to stop bleeding, talk my way onto fox news and then out-debate Bill O'Reilly on live TV -- not that I'd need powers to do that.

The possibilities are endless!

I have a phlegmatic personality, so I would would guess the ability to control water (although, despite being Minnesotan, I hate swimming). I guess a plant-based ability would be more appropriate due to my love of nature and pretty strong sense of emotional empathy.

I space out a lot, either daydreaming or just not paying attention to the world around me by going around on auto-pilot. But since invisibility seems a bit cliche, I'd like to think I could fade in and out of physical existence with this power. When I'm incorporeal, the entire world acts like I never existed and never will. When I incarnate, it's back to normal.

Not that I would necessarily WANT that power. Dunno.

That or I'd have the power to turn into a robot, since I like Logic so much. Seems like a power that, if it backfired, might suck less. Although I dunno if I would choose to have that one either.

Alternatively, when I space out it wouldn't be a figure of speech. I'd literally end up in outer space. Not that it would give me the power to survive deep space, but I could get there. That's something, right?

I'm super unremarkable with a perchance for defeatism.

My own super-power would be the ability to blow myself, and only myself, up but I never bother because bleh.
I totally missed the `up` in there the first time I read that. I lol'd.

I tend to be very cynical about things, but I do have a tendency to be right about how things will go wrong. Therefore my power would be not to predict the future, but effect it, but only towards the negative. I couldn't say, "Oh, he'll win the lottery." I could say, "Oh, he'll get fired from his job," and it will happen. Maybe with training I could say, "His gun will jam."

I've been told by many how heartless and cold I can be and I can manipulate people pretty well and take pleasure in it. The person I show others differs depending on who I'm with. Maybe mind control?

I would likely have the power of a procrastination field. Aka. Make that group of thugs around me suddenly stop caring altogether about wanting to rob me or wanting to do work period, allowing me to just walk on out unharmed

I guess this one's a double edged sword but, hey, i can see some benefits here.

I would have healing powers, I constantly work to help people when they are sick or injured, I have three first aid kits and many medications, whenever my friends are sick they come to me first, and I worry about them. I make them wear sweaters and eat. But if I were ever to have to fight, fight for them, for anyone, I would probably shoot something from my hands... fire, earth, water, air, plants, lasers... anything to protect them. I'm not very strong, and I could probably elbow someone currently, but I beat up six guys with a bracelet once to protect my little brother and myself. I don't like bullies, I don't like people who hurt people, and I won't let it happen to anyone, not after what I went through with bullies as a kid.

I'm also a fire-dancer already, so shooting fire isn't that far-fetched.

I'm a diagnosed sociopath (albeit one with an ethical egoist take on life)

I really can't think of one for that. Maybe a jedi mind trick style ability?

I'd be open to suggestions about this.
You also survived a stab wound, I bet you'd get regenerative powers.

Captcha: Good Luck, regenerative powers would be lucky in the fight against douche-bags.

I'd probably have electrokinetic technopathy. Manipulation of electircal currents to access/mind hack technology, wifi, all that good stuff. I wouldn't be able to conjure lightning or anything until years or even decades of mastery. But in the mean time, so much brain internet.

It works since I'm mentally energetic and tech-minded.

I can get easily bored; distracted, and lose track of time easily, so I'd have the power to slow down or speed up time! ..only at random, and I have no control over it..

I fit into different situations easily. One moment I can be telling jokes to kids, the next acting extremely professional at work. In high school I would be able to integrate myself into the conversations of people I didn't know for the fun of it.

Always thought shape shifting would be a good fit for me, and if I started shifting subconsciously at first rather than intentionally....lots of awkward situations.
