I remember taking one of these the first time I got into college, as part of a career center help thing, got INTJ, which explained quite a bit.

After three years of university, and almost every time since, it's been INFJ. So clearly, there's only one conclusion.

I'm Batman.

I had to take the full million page version of that when I was in grad school. It was either INTJ or INTP, I can't really remember. Leaning towards INTP.

INTP

Seem to bounce between that and INTJ. I think the INTP description fits me almost perfectly so I prefer that one.

INTJ
Introvert-56% Intuitive-25%
Thinking-12% Judging-1%

That only adds up to 94%. because I'm 6% magic?

Im not entirely sure what that says about me, or whether I agree with that or not, but I guess it somewhat describes me. I tend to be pretty loyal to a close group of friends and am pretty reserved in public :/

Though, all the times I've done these I've bounced between ISFP and INFP. Personally, I've found it more useful to just ignore Jungian Archetypes, because judging people based on them leaves alot just floating out there that don't really mesh with everything else.

I got INTP, myself

I don't like tests like these, as it's always an absolute

Plus, labeling myself feels like I'm trying to FORCE myself to be unique... if that makes any sense >.>
Well they're written in absolutes by nature of being categories, I'd say. They seem like absolutes for the sake of recording every characteristic a certain type may possess. Regardless, at best the test is a "line of best fit" sort of thing, and I don't think it's intended to be anything more. To say you're an INTP--which I most commonly get as well--isn't to say "your entire personality can be summarized on this write-up," so much as it is, "you have tendencies which match this extreme the closest." It's kind of like putting you on a spectrum with Hitler on one side and Jesus on the other, just a little more refined and certainly more accurate, just not 100%.

Oh look an introvert on the internet, how rare! Not many other people have my exact type, I only saw one guy so far before me.

INTP myself.

These type tests usually point in the right general direction, but the last one and sometimes two letters can be a bit off. For myself, I find INTP mostly accurate. Except I don't enjoy word games, I detest Scrabble.

I've done a shit ton of these tests (usually because of people making these threads here!) and I get INTP/INTJ all the damned time. Apparently that makes me like House, or Einstein.

Fuck, I am most definitely not a genius.
Intelligence has little bearing on attention to detail and mode of thinking. A smarter INTP/J will more often arrive at correct deductions, but that doesn't mean your processes are that much different, theirs just accounted for a variable you missed.

As the explanation said, us being wrong rarely results from us having a flaw in our reasoning, it's when we fail to account for a detail, a data point, in any given situation. Without that missed point, you'd be exactly right.

Seems like the denizens of the internet, the escapist at least, trend towards IN pretty heavily.

The massive test I took at school left me as the only INTP, so I have to question the accuracy of this test somewhat. Yes or no works somewhat, but sometimes I end up in the middle and I'd like a more accurate and less black and white option.

No surprise. I don't watch House but I am a misanthropic asshole from way back.

I'm not sure what they mean by Intuition vs Sensing. Isn't intuition a sense? Also not sure why Judging/Perceiving are mutually exclusive. I perceive that things are out of balance, then judge how they should be made right. Must not be what they mean.

On a side note, this is my 1000th post. Who's got two thumbs and just added a fourth digit to his post count? THIS GUY!

I've always stradled the line between ENTJ and ENTP.

Back in highschool I was enfj/enfp though.
