-Tepid dialog (Why yes, I AM a Master of Unlocking)
-Characters who could barely qualify as one-dimensional (Unreal is supposed to be just a name, guys)
-Escort missions (Fuck you, Yorda)
-racist 12-year-olds on Xbox Live (I'm white as the driven snow, yet I get called a n****r almost daily by some pre-pubescent twat)
-Controls requiring more precision than a thumb stick can handle (AC2 had me jumping off many roofs to my death because I pushed the stick 4 degrees off of the direction I meant to go)

And most of all, that inevitable point in many games where, after spending half the game building up your character into a total badass, some random event happens where you're stripped of all your powers/gear and have to cross the map and/or fight a boss without them. It doesn't make the game more fun, and the challenge it provides is less of an "I really want to beat this tough part" and more "I want to break the disc into shards and use them to saw through the carotid artery of whomever argued to include this level" type of challenge.
