You know, usually I hate when people say that, but in this I fully agree.

People who go "yeah whatever" as soon as you've got something interesting to say. Not sure if it counts as a pet peeve, since everybody does it; it just pisses me off tremendously and I usually purposefully ignore the 'offender' for a couple of hours afterwards.

Classics. Also, "I don't know my number, I never call myself." Evidently neither does anyone else, jerkass.

Related: people who have no idea what kind of car they drive. I used to sell auto parts, and I'd say less than half the people I dealt with could even tell me what brand of car they had, never mind what size engine. One lady actually told me "I think it's green, does that help?" It does indeed, just not in the way you might imagine.

I hate when people point out the obvious like "use the search bar" or "this has already been done," or even better when someone self-destructs on the forum by making a bunch of "naughty" threads, all of the comments say one word. Reported. As if know one else already fucking noticed. And it's not like it is one person doing it either. Regardless if four other people JUST FUCKING SAID IT, some twit will find the urge to state the god-damn obvious. Though, maybe I should do the same. I hear it is the best way to boost your posts.

And as tacos pointed out this has been used before so has the stupid poll except a different example a youtube video i think.

Okay, now that we've established how badly I screwed up, does anyone know if there's a way to delete a thread? Or is it out there for good?

Message a MOD if you don't want your thread active anymore. Alex_P and Nilcypher are good places to start. They will lock it for you, if they deem it necessary. And in my history of being here, they usually don't put your account on probation or anything if your want your thread locked.
It happens, no harm, no foul.
Now, can everyone please move on?
