You cant assume that though. Just because some people did something stupid dosnt mean you label them stupid. Sometimes people make mistakes, or are not thinking straight, or have been misinformed, etc. Same goes for selfish.Echer123 said:

By poor taste in music I meant those who simply follow what is popular because everyone else is. Not to say it isn't music, but when somebody likes music without putting any thought into why, that is what irritates me. Not the actual music taste itself.Xyphon said:

People who say something is bad when they haven't truly experienced it. I listen to multiple genres of music and it angers me when someone who doesn't understand a genre refuses to listen to it e.g the majority of escapists and Hip-Hop.
One of my roommate's less endearing features is where she'll get my attention, then do absolutely nothing to keep it.
I'll be in the other room, reading or whatever, when she'll call out to me.
RM: Honey?
Me: Yeah?
(dead silence)
Me: (thinks, "okay, she didn't hear me.") Yeah?
(further dead silence)
Me: (thinks, "Maybe 'yeah' sounds too angry.") What's up?
(nothing whatsoever)
Me: (thinks, "It must be serious.") You all right?
(gives it a little more time, then gets up, walks into other room. She's not even looking at me as I walk in, usually staring at her computer screen, as if she hadn't said anything at all.)
Me: What is it?
RM: (often after another long period of silence before finally tearing her eyes away from the screen) Did you get the mail?
Me: (thinks, "is that it?") Yes.
RM: (looks back at screen) Did we get anything from Netflix?
Me: (trying not to sound annoyed) Yeah, they're on your desk (thinks, "Below the screen, in the BIG RED envelopes.").
RM: (still not looking at me) Okay.
I should probably mention that she's a huge WoW fan, and that's often what's getting her attention over me, but the fact is she doesn't even need to be at her computer for this exchange to take place.
The only reasons for it are 1) she got distracted (which is often the case, and no less annoying), 2) whatever she needs help with is too embarrassing to shout at me from the other room (which has happened once or twice), or 3)... something I just can't figure out.
