Remember back when people were saying children were saying that children were going to grow up to be murderous fiends because of DOOM? The truth is that even children's brains can separate the real world from fiction. And even if it was real, the dogs in CoD aren't the AWWW!! LOOK AT TE WIDDLE PUPPY!! dogs. Dogs cannot think on the level that some members of peta think the can.

Best game idea ever- game where you control a variety of cute and cuddly animals on a rampage. The objective: slaughter as many members of PETA as possible. Gore out the wazoo, crowded levels of defenseless PETA members, but no animals being harmed (of course). Imagine the achievements. And the irony. Delicious irony...

You know they are right! I am down for living in a bubble and keeping everything alive. Every cell has a right to live, so I better learn to float in the air with a bubble around me, so my immune system doesn't hurt harmful bacteria.

You know, killing things is TERRIBLE, and it MUST BE STOPPED. Seriously, killing humans is fine though because PETA doesn't care about them bastards, but animals god save them! They are our very EXISTENCE, and we would be NOTHING if they all were to die.

Every time you kill a dog, a piece of grass or anything else alive (OTHER THAN HUMAN OF COURSE) in a video game it is the equivalent of 10 puppies being strangled to death! Us terrible video game players need to be shot, every one of us.

Please don't flame me, if you couldn't tell this is sarcasm read it (in all caps) AGAIN.

Not when you're a member of PETA. If they were in a burning building they'd run past a baby to get the family's goldfish. Which actually brings me to another reason that no one takes them seriously, they have a campaign going to rename fish "sea kittens." Despite being the most prolific animal rights group they are the biggest bane of the movement.
While you missed the most important way they're hampering the animal rights movement (the fact that they kill 70-90% of the animals they take in in a given year, while ironically picketing animal shelters who euthanize), you're right.
I didn't realize they picketed for euthanasia. That is downright two faced since they do it themselves. I still say that the public spectacle they always make of themselves is worse. They alienate all but the most staunch animal rights supporters with all their harsh rhetoric and unseemly behavior, which leaves them all alone ranting and raving at the world. Case in point: they put this out after a streak of shark attacks a few years ago.

Added a spoiler tag since the image is kind of offensive.

It's funny, the girl those screw balls are backing go to a school in Massachusettes. Those of you who live in the U.S. know that it's the most liberal bloody state in the Union. And the sad part is, I live there. Stuff like this happens on a weekly basis. In one city, people were protesting the Boy Scouts. At a city election some time ago, the scouts were there to collect goods and such for care packages for soldiers overseas. Some idiots then thought it was a good idea to protest them being their and called them Warmongers. FOR COLLECTING STUFF FOR CARE PACKAGES.

So PETA backing this twit is just something I've come to expect, especially after living in that bloody state for so long. You can't tell these people that they might be wrong. They'll just yell at you and call you an animal hater or something. So it's no use trying to argue logic with these people. It's like trying to convince a brick wall that it's doing it's job poorly. It just can't be done.

The game, in my humble opinion, It's kill, or be killed. I loath PETA. And it's so ridiculous how they are up in arms about killing animals when they don't give a crap about people getting killed.

Also PETA is against pets which makes no sence since they sent Nintendogs which is a petsimulator for little girls who are too young to take care of ponnies or unicorns or somthing else girly...
In that case wouldn't it be Nintenpony?

just shows how fucking stupid they are. They don't protest about killing children or racism, but killing a dog OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!! They need to kill themselves

With a little Nintendogs influence, perhaps the next Call of Duty game will have you unlock achievements for petting the dogs you encounter and going on walks or playing Frisbee with them.
Yes, after the dogs bite your throat out from in between your head and shoulders, your neckstump corpse can go throw a frisbee for them or take them on a walk or adopt one, take it home, and have it make many neckstump corpses.

Yaay.

Every time i hear anything about PETA I have the strangest urge to go to KFC for a bucket of fried chicken.

I joined the escapist just now so i could make a comment on this thread.

PETA people are insane and everybody should watch Penn & Teller's bullshit PETA episode.

Their should be an anti-PETA organisation... Maybe I should start it but what would be the name?

Well I saw that one coming.
Really this is like the Mass Effect sex scandal it will all blow over in a good month or two.
Except with that, gamers destroyed the author's book ratings on Amazon. I wonder what they'll do with this, crash the PETA website?

Peta can go dig their own grave somewhere else. I'll never take the word of an animal rights group that kill dogs and cats in secret.

But in the end, I'm still pissed off and start threads about counter-petitions.

Someone take away Ingrid Newkirk's insulin. They have to kill pigs to extract the pancreas to get the drugs that save her worthless human life. She's actually gone on record as saying that her life personally is worth those animal deaths, but none of ours are.

I kind of want to send a letter to al-Qaeda and say "America's nerve center, the very place where our entire national livelihood emanates, the very wellspring of our international power, is at *PeTA's headquarters address*" along with a flight schedule out of LAX.
