After hearing this, it makes me all the more likely to pull the trigger on those friggin' dogs in WaW... speaking of which, they have taken this out of context. The dogs are trained to kill humans on the (virtual) battlefield; so when I'm attacked by one, it's for survival.

I have to do a school project where I write a speech appealing to PETA members, but every time I read something new about them it gets harder to think of anything nice to say. I'm all for treating animals ethically and humanely, but PETA is a bit too zealous for my tastes. Also, they're single-minded in the extreme. They support Victoria's Secret for being "vegan" and "cruelty-free", but ignore many of the company's environmental abuses.

Once again video games get blamed for something but this is ridiculous, it's totally within PETA's reasoning for me to take a flamethrower to a group of human beings but if I knife a virtual canine suddenly I'm more evil than the old corner store guy that had an arcade game of SF II where me and my friends would go everyday after school (I was in 1st Grade) and spend every quarter we had trying in vain to reach the end. He would sit and watch as we hadoken and sonic boom our way through but once we reach Bison the machine would shit itself somehow and we had to start over!!!
