So....PETA don´t mind killing virtual seals THEMSELVES but they DO mind everyone else killing virtual guard dogs Nazis trained to kill you in Call of Duty: World at War?

Bra. Fucking. Vo. Idiotic hypocrites to the end.

Am I the only one also feeling really weird at how PETA talks of the Horde?
I mean, the Horde isn't the "Big Evil" ever since the Warcraft games stopped being so black-and-white-ish with humans are good, non-humans are bad. The Horde doesn't follow the Lich King either, it's the Scourge that does, they got their game lore all mixed-up. (which is absolutely not surprising.)

But here PETA goes doing the very same generalization: Alliance is good and Horde is evil. Why? Because they aren't humans, they are monsters! I'm pretty sure they didn't think about it, I know they don't know the slightest thing about WoW, but that's exactly the generalization they did anyways.
Isn't that exactly what they fight? Animals have rights even if they are not humans, and all that.

Heck, the Horde has the Tauren race, probably the most nature-friendly race of all the game (with the Night elves), they are peaceful and they are god-dangit walking, talking COWS.
Isn't there any other icon that would fit MORE animal friendliness?

And now, Horde is the big bad evil seal-clubbers.

Ungh. They are so misdirected...but then again, http://www.petakillsanimals.com/index.cfm so...

Isnt there a daily quest in which you help these seal-like things in WoW "fall in love"?

I hate PETA. Enough said. The followers that I personally know are totally clueless to how stupid of an organization they follow.

Did you know that PETA euthenizes roughly 2/3 of every animal they take in? Hypocrites in every sense of the word.

This CANNOT EXIST. Stupidity of this magnitude? It has to be some sort of joke.
My thoughts exactly.

This type of protest is just too far out there. They must be getting bored.

Alright, everyone back up for a second. Forget that PETA are a bunch of Psychos.

This may take a while, ill give you a minute.

...

Done? Okay.

Opposing seal clubbing is a reasonable position. I'm sure even the hoard would find no honor in killing babies. So PETA uses WoW for a clever piece of satire. The Hoard, representing America, Canada, or some other big country, is profiting from Seal clubbing. But the fair-minded, compassionate and honorable seal lovers in the Hoard decide that Seal clubbing is so obviously evil, that they must be in league with the Scourge, and go to kick there ass. That's actually pretty funny. I mean, half of WoWs quests involves wholesale wildlife slaughter, so they can't be too hard-assed about it. So PETA can take a joke, and are doing a fun little awareness drive for seal clubbing opposition that involves a special event where you go and kick some seal clubbers asses. I think that's pretty clever.

I also think that people saw PETA, and assumed anything they did would be outrageously dumb. They do plenty of other dumb stuff without needing to add something cool to the list.

In COD: World At War if you get 7 consectutive kills you can summon dogs to attack people. The only way to stop said dogs is to kill them.
I see. So...what would PETA do when faced with attack dogs? Unless they have a really good answer for that, they shouldn't complain.
THIS! OHMYGOD, THIS!!! We must attack them with guard dogs!!! If they defend themselves (which they can only do with force), they lose all credibility, or even better, if they don't, they get mauled by the 'cute furry doggie-woggies' that they blindly love.

i wish this was a joke, this is the Second one of these ive seen, First one was them wanting Call of Duty World at War to Not Have Guard dogs OR in fact have Awards for petting the dogs instead of killing or hurting them, im sure its in the News here Somewhere, and i Swear they Want a Pet the dog in game award for it..

then there's the Matter of that Wii game Cooking Mama that they made a game of, with her Slaughtering Animals in as Brutal a way you could and having it give extra points for doing it well..
