So basically this is a fake Twitter account made to look like Peter Molyneux's and it's honestly hilarious.
If you don't know, Peter Molyneux is the creative mind behind the popular Fable franchise and he's known for promising all kinds of outrageous ideas and features that never actually make it into his final games up to the point where it's become something of a running joke.

This Twitter account follows Molyneux as he constantly reinvents himself, striving for the next innovation in gaming while coming up with the most bizarre game concepts you will ever hear.

Such gems as: "You know, my dream for gaming is where in one game you'll shoot someone and then during a game of say Fifa you'll see their son crying" and "If I made a Transformers game you would control a boy playing with Transformer figures in a house filled with domestic family abuse" are but a few fragments of his brilliance. Seriously, check it out.

Oh, and for discussion value, would you actually play some of these games? If so, which and why?

"What if your face was a mirror?"

Truly he is a philosopher of our time. I half suspect this is really him pretending to be someone pretending to be him.

Whoah, those are some great ideas. He should totally do the "Game with ONE enemy hunting you down in an empty scary world. WiiU controller shows HIS vision. Next generation tension right there." That actually sounds fun.

'What if our character had a supermarket for a left arm? Until we dare to ask questions like these the industry is going nowhere.' I love these!

"People were shouting at me not to put miscarriages in Theme Hospital, yet in kids movie 'UP' it's acceptable. I was ahead of my time."

This is my new favorite thing, I'm going to read more.

Here's some of the ideas that could be really interesting if stripped down to their cores or twisted/expanded upon:

WARNING!!! WALL OF TEXT AHEAD!!!

"Visualize an open world game set in a white box. During the night you dream and can place elements from your dream into the blank world"

This has a lot of potential. If you play a character who can take elements from their dreams and put them in an open world that might be interesting on it's own. Now imagine that that world slowly evolves depending on what elements you put in their. For example you could put a fantasy creature in with an ancient tribal civilization and create a new religion or mix tigers with modern science which evolves into a society of sentient tigers (sort of like Spore on steroids). Of course the game would probably require constant updates because in dreams the possibilities are limited only to your imagination.

"Fighting game where you fight with kinect based dancing moves. A bit like Moonwalker with Kinect but without MJ."

Sounds like a fun "Spectacle Fighter" (as Yahtzee would call it) but would probably work better with a classic controller.

"An entire adventure game based in one room, can it be done? Movies have done it, why not games?"

As far as story goes it could work well but you would have to work really hard to keep gameplay interesting. Maybe have some kind of terrible threat outside with gameplay focused on keeping it out (which could make for some great tension and atmosphere if done right) and either make it a house/building or a really big room.

"Imagine an action game where upon killing each enemy you see a 1 minute unique cutscene flashing through their entire life"

How about an FPS that follows your character through their life (kinda like Fallout 3) and keeps the footage of your gameplay stored so that when you near death you hear sounds from past events (ranging from dialogue to the sounds of explosions and guns firing or a special event taking place) and when you die the game over and loading screens flash through your life at top speed and slow down every now and then to focus on a random piece of footage. WOuld need a health warning though.

"War game where at the end you walk through a graveyard looking at each and every headstone of those you killed followed with 1minute silence"

Great idea but requires good storytelling and great characters to work.

"You live in a little house made of guns. You need many guns to fight invaders but you also need to keep a roof on top of your many children."

Strip it down to it's very essence (having to tactically use your resources because they serve 2 equally important purposes) and it has some good potential.

"Have you ever played a racing game and wanted to play as the road rather than the cars? I know I have..."

Right. Time for some serious twisting business (right foot, blue). An online enabled game in which a team of players playing as vehicles are trying to reach a certain location while one other player tries to stop them by sending enemies after them, firing turrets at them, setting traps and terror forming the environment. As each player earns points (vehicles earn points by getting closer to their goal and later destroying enemies and the other player earns points by damaging them or making them move away from their goal) they can use those points to upgrade their abilities and weapons. In essence I guess it's like an action/driving game version of D&D.

I happen to think this is the greatest video game idea ever.

It would certainly be an improvement if it were the plot of the movie franchise.

I must break into filmmaking and secure the rights to some toy line like Transformers and make this movie. It will be so awesome, the world would die!

"What if your body was a washing machine and you had to wash your enemies before you can kill them?"

This is actually amusing, and seems like stuff Molyneux would actually say.

I've always wanted to see Night of the Living Dead as a point and click adventure where the "puzzles" largely consist of dialogue, keeping tensions as low as possible. Kind of like the loyalty conflicts in Mass Effect 2, except success is based on what you actually say instead of just being Paragon or Renegade enough.
And now I'm sad because it'll never happen.

This is hilarious. I wish I knew about Molyneux before. I've only heard about how crazy he can get from people like Yahtzee and stuff.

Haven't read something that funny for a while :D But it actually does contain some interesting ideas, though.
