Photoshop Tutorials

Recently I have bought Photoshop with the hopes of creating some drawings that have always been in my head and then I realized I suck with it. So googling Photoshop tutorials gave me quite a lot of pages and all of them seem to be giving something different. Does anyone know of any solid good sites for tutorials or anything else?

DeviantART Has more than its fair share of tutorials for all different kinds of things. If you look around long enough on there, I'm sure you'll find something at least a little close to what you're looking for.

For the record, OP, he's not being derogatory. There's a series of videos on Youtube called You Suck At Photoshop that're also tutorials.

If you want to make drawings on your computer I recommend Illustrator.

Photoshop is photo manipulation.

Illustrator is picture creating.

Yeah have a look at last months 'click' its available from the BBC. they did a feature about the best tutorial sites and one was for photoshop but I can't remember the name of it so check it out.
