It's obvious when you think about it but when I saw it I was like "woah"

The density of the planet Saturn is less than that of water.

Meaning that if you put it in an ocean big enough, it would float.
Wouldn't those two gigantic objects consume each other in case there was an ocean big enough?
I mean in case of such mega objects as planets you have to take in account the fact that gravitational well of Saturn (and the HUGE ocean) would pull and eventually consume one of the objects, and the more it would consume into itself the heavier it becomes and the faster it consumes the rest.

Personally I think Saturn would win if only for the fact that it has a metal core. (for all we know)

PS. Do you know that if you had a teleporting spaceship or a warmhole that made you jump to the edge of the universe you would:
a) Get torn apart by big bang (OH YES!!!)
b) If you had a "big bang tearing you apart" proof ship you would probably go blind in a few nanoseconds since you would witness the brightest object in the known universe.

PS2.

I was surprised to learn that dragon type was only weak to dragon type. It confused and infuriated me.
And ice type!

OT: Perhaps i'm missing something, whats the significance behind 42?
Its the answer to life, the universe and everything.

Math is fun. 1337 math is funner... er.. more fun.

OT: The king of hearts is the only king without a mustache on a standard playing card. Not mind blowing, but an odd fact that makes you go check the nearest deck.

Also we should be keen to remember that its not just water freezing but theres air inside it aswell, or thats how i think it works
There are dissolved gases in water, but there is no "air" in water. Dissolved gases can become trapped in ice as water freezes, but they don't make up a significant portion of the ice.

But what about wood...or witches, who are made of wood? How would we know who to burn?
We will just have to burn everyone. To be absolutely sure of course.

Oh yeah, On Topic ness for others.

.999... = 1

Seriously, no funky math there. .9 to infinity = 1

Look at it this way.

2/3 = .666...
1/3 = .333...

1/3 + 2/3 = 1
.333... + .666... = .999..

Or:

1/9 = .111...
9x1/9 = 1
9x.111... = .999...

Have fun with that everyone.
Wait but... whoa?
Oh god it's like that "what happened to one dollar?" thing!

Still pretty cool though i guess, i don't see any correlation between pi and the meaning of life however.
Pi is used to measure circles. The world is a sphere (more or less) which means an infinite number of overlapping circles facing every direction. Life wouldn't be here if we didn't have earth, and earth wouldn't be here if we didn't have circles, and you can't make a circle without Pi!

No I'm just bullshitting you, I have no clue either.

Aerodactyl...found that out fighting one of those...
Haha, that's actually how I found out too. I needed an attack to beat a friend's Aerodactyl lead, and found out that Rock Slide would do the job! =D

ah yes, the: 'Don't Panic n00b' Identity.

basic algebra therefore dictates that the meaning to life, the universe and everything is elite pie.

few have been brave or foolhardy enough to challenge...

A similar maths one (albeit lacking a Hitch-hikers guide to the Galaxy reference) is this:

111,111,111 x 111,111,111

=12345678987654321

In step 4, both sides are set to zero (a-b=0, so 0*each factor makes the equation 0=0). You don't divide the zero out. Hell, in step 3 you establish that a[sup]2[/sup]-b[sup]2[/sup]=b(a-b), which means 0 (a[sup]2[/sup]-a[sup]2[/sup] since a=b) = b*0 (a-a), therefore 0=0.

You fail algebra forever. My math teacher pointed this out to me when I was in second grade...so anyone who believes you can divide by zero is by definition not as smart as a second-grader.
"" My math teacher pointed this out to me when I was in second grade""

umm...are you a wizard? doing algebra in 2nd grade!!!
Not a wizard. "Severely gifted" was how the superintendent of schools put it to my mother.

That is totally awesome! I am so glad it only hunts spiders though, since spiders scare me and spiders that can learn is freaking scary!

OT:

That was awesome. I sort of have one that popped up in my Phil208 Lecture today, Diet Coke in a can is less dense than water. [Ie, it floats].

Division by zero is possible! And it breaks reality.
Given:
a=b
a[sup]2[/sup]=ab
a[sup]2[/sup]-b[sup]2[/sup]=ab-b[sup]2[/sup]
(a+b)(a-b)=b(a-b)
(a+b)=b
a+a=a
2a=a
2=1
Hmm... nope
2a=a :a
2=0
Nope, dropping the a from both sides makes it 2=1. Since the other side doesn't have a constant, dropping the variable makes it 1. If you wrote it out, it would be 2a=1a.

There is a prize behind one of three closed doors. You pick a door, then one of the OTHER doors you DIDN'T pick is opened, the prize is not behind it. This leaves two doors, the one you picked, and the remaining closed door. One houses the prize, one does not. You are asked if you would like to swap your selection.

Should you?

;D

ohh! does anyone remember the one about the two guys, where one always lies and one is always honest!?
