i would like to know where my fellow Escapist's would pick

Me? i would live in the mass effect universe....maybe join cerberus, or the alliance...
and why stop there? what species would you become if you had the choice?

would you like to live life as a grunt from Halo?

become a random Steve in minecraft?

become a sim? (oh god)

maybe live in the star wars universe? join the jedi or sith

how about star trek?

and even firefly?? (FTW!)

If we add TV show universes, I want to life in the MLP universe. Very little violence, idyllic lifestyle, magic. Seems pretty win-win to me. At first I might be temped to choose the Star Wars universe or maybe Star Trek, but both of those universes have a history of killing large amounts of innocent life on short notice. It might be cool to live in Star Wars, but who wants to live on Alderaan?

Dead or alive beach volleyball 2.

You can keep your dangerous reaper, gangster, mutant and zombie filled universes. I'm just going to relax on a beach, at a hotel/casino resort, occasionally riding a free jet ski rental, while I watch gorgeous women play beach volleyball in skimpy swimsuits. And did I mention I'll be buying them presents? And I'm the only single man around for miles? Oh yes. Beach volleyball universe here I come. But allow me to make my point more cogently.

the UC era from Mobile suit gundam around the 0080,s as a GM pilot, piloting a mech seems pretty cool and looks like a high paying job (considering how eaily GM/Zaku pilots die during the series) with the OYW over piloting a GM would be less of a death sentence then during the OYW (at least until 0083 and the Gryps conflict) or maybe join the AEUG during the Gryps conflict (AKA during Zeta gundam)

alternatively test pilot for the federation around the same era (after the OYW but before the gryps conflict) kinda like what Kou Uraki did in 0083 before he piloted/hijacked the GP01.

I'll go with the marvel universe, seems like I have pretty good chance of getting super powers. Especially since they have the X-Men, which means they have hundreds of nameless un-important mutants.

Part of me wants to say Warcraft over Starcraft, because chances are I would be useful in Starcraft (where I'd have a chance to level up in Warcraft), or the .Hack universe (that place is awesome).

The Pokemon universe would be very easy to conquer... after all, most villains there aren't all that great. I could become a mastermind.

I'd want to be force sensitive but I don't want to be Jedi nor Sith. The Jedi code would prevent me from having any kind of fun and being a Sith would mean you have to be a dick and everybody will hate you, not to mention the Jedi will want to hunt you down and kill you.

It would just be interesting living in that world, if I got to choose my role, maybe an ambassador.

Then there's also Pokemon and WoW, hell why not? I'd be the very best, like no one ever was.

With my T12 Armor, I'd just chill at Orgrimmar, with my Pets. Ah yeah, that'd be the life

No offences and not to burst your bubble but what make you think any of the girls would want to go out with you? Yes you would be the only guy on the island but are they that lonely? Well depends how long there are there. (I assume each of them got their standard.)
All of them can easily kick your ass if you act like a creep toward any one of them.

OT- I would go with the Animal Crossing universe. Sure it's somewhat dull compare to any other exciting games but the things is there is no death, famine or any kind of threats that is going to kill me or destroy the universe.
The only thing I got to worry about is paying back my load to a Racoon and it doesn't look like he will break my legs any time soon.

So you would want the potential, but never learn to properly harness it. The hell would be the point of that?

And to everyone who is choosing pokemon or other goofy cartoon worlds. Doesn't that mean you can never do activities that have no place in that world? You would never play a pokemon game with drinking/smoking/sex etc. so say goodbye to that stuff.
