Cello Apocalypse. Giant cellos raining down from the sky skewering people on their endpins, cellos eating people and the only way to defend yourself is with rosin.

I think boredom would be a more likely result than fun. Being locked up somewhere for hours and days on end while zombies patrol outside, trying not to be spotted and all the while thinking to myself "oh GOD this is so lame and done-to-death"... Women not becoming pregnant, that sounds good to me. Scratch the Nazi one, I think I'll go for that instead. Not even sure it'd qualify as an apocalypse on account of being so utterly awesome.

I'd go with the Mad Max apocolypse. Basically the fall of government and devolution into tribal anarchy as countries fall into themselves vying for there own meager resources.
As the situation continues to spiral, larger cities become graveyards due to civil war, famine, fires and disease. Smaller cities become havens for whatever's left of government and corporations and those who can afford such protection. Townships, counties and towns with viable rural resources (ie mining, agriculture, fishing etc) will turn into villages either becoming feudal protectorates of the 'civilised' remnants or combining to form there own united comunities.
Amist the chaos of this dark age two different types of people will come to the for. Those that seek to destroy and those who seek to rebuild or preserve. The former will band together into decrepate bands hunting and preying on the weak or like the Lord Humongous will gather a hoarde and try to attack larger communities. The latter are like Papagalo and the Road Warrior one seeking to rebuild knowing that there is a better way of life. The other preserving the ideals of the past either as a vigilante (the road warrior) or as peoples gathering knowledge either to use to help or to catalogue and protect.
Well that's my kind of apocolypse anyway

how about, everyone on earth goes mad except for a small comune of immune people, kind of like in that movie "The Crazies" except on a global scale. Otherwise, i thinkn it would be cool if the world got destroyed randomly but you got picked up by some friendly aliens just before, then you could hitchhike around the galaxy "wink wink nudge nudge" as the last member of your species

If not then maybe something that doesnt destroy the planet, but changes life forever.
Say if there was a nuclear holocaust, billions dead, the whole world messed up.
But then the survivors need to deal with this new world. A world where people rip each other to shreds for whatever clean water is left.
Human nature changes drastically. Yeah, it would be horrible, but interesting no doubt.
But if we all had to die then death by cube monsters from cube world would be...awesome...?

Okay, Metalocalypse, At least it sounds and looks awesome. And people only kill eachother out of mass suicide and horrible accident.
Also, Warhammer 40k. A lot of it is regular, but it's apocalypse on galactic scale.
Stephen Kings, The Stand. Virus kills 75% of world population and order deteriorates, and slowly reforms.
Rifts open into other dimensions allowing others in to ours and us into others. (dimensions I mean)
Zombie's. As soon as it's real it's no longer a cliche or overdone. If you think the reality would be anything like the fiction you probably don't actually think. Psychologists should make a zombie film. Also living out in the mountains I can pretty well sit back and relax.
