I'd go with plain old super-virus. That's if of course I'm one of the few that're immune... otherwise it'd be a pretty shortlived apocalypse from my perspective.

If you've seen Survivors you know what I mean.It's basically the same as the zombie apocalypse, but without the zombies.

Probably a zombie or depopulation apocalypse. Something where society breaks down but its still possible to live off the land. I just think it would be more interesting. And easier to survive.

Another one I thought of is what if every vagina on the planet suddenly become lined with sharp teeth.

well ... zombies are the first thing that spring to mind, but sod that - everyone's calling zombies; so my apocalypse is shadowrun. magic re-enters the world, but instead of everyone getting some, i get it all and become the majestic arcane overlord of earth. and then cause the apocalypse for shits and giggles.

I agree with this. Also, it gives you the option to survive the apocalypse. While a Nuclear Apocalypse or Cthulu Apocalypse would be general slaughter, a Zombie one would be comparitvely safe. Plus zombies are fun to kill. The proper shufling zombies though, not the ones that run fast and/or evolve into stronger zombies. They're tough motherfuckers.
