Pie is Tasty!!!! (favorite kinds of pie)

As a Brit, I have to say Steak pie (kidney too, although I personally have an irrational fear of organ meats), and Cornish Pasty. Officially, they can only be called proper Cornish pasties if they are actually created in Cornwall. No pie or pastie from outside Cornwall is actually supposed to be referred to as a Cornish pasty. When you taste the difference, you can see why. Cornish pasties are the best pies/pasties in the world, and there is no way anyone can dispute that, simply because it is an established scientific fact. I should know, I do Statistics

Any sweet pie is good too, I have a sweet tooth...

(note that yes, I am a Cornish pasty fanboy...)

But my Irish ancestors make me love all meat pies as well, and cherry, apple, blueberry... Pretty much anything but pumpkin pie.

But strawberry rhubarb is by far my favourite.

Steak pie. Preferably with sausages in it. And the kind of puff pastry that gets really wet on the inside and mega crispy on the outside...

Plus those little 'normal' pies with miscelanous meat inside them are awesome with beans.

I <3 cheesecake. Does cheesecake count? It's shaped like a pie.

If cheesecake doesn't count, then turkey pot pie is my answer.

Apple Pie is #1 in my book. Most amazingly tasty thing I've ever had.

And I'd say pumpkin pie is a close second... mainly for its sex appeal.

I love this one kind of pie, that has a VERY flaky crust and inside is guava paste. It's great.


Also, Chicken Pot. It's pie that east like a meal.

I want some pumpkin pie! they dont have it in britian. grr. Tho I really like apple pie, wild blackberry pie, rubarb pie and pecan pie, oh and Steak pie and mincemeat pies, with the kind of puff pastry that gets really wet on the inside and crispy on the outside...
