Piercings

So what do you think about piercings? I never want to have one, call me a sissy but I do not like sharp objects, and that shit can stay the hell away from my skin!

I don't really find them attractive either.

I'd never get them myself, but they can be attractive on others. There are some spots that put me off though. Not sure exactly why, I just don't like certain piercings on people.

I used to have 27 piercings in all. I worked at a tattoo parlor as a piercer, and the other girl in training would often practice on me. I've had almost every kind done (even those). I find a lot of the guys I like find them attractive, so I was happy.

Sadly though at 23 I decided to remove them. In college now for my masters and felt it was a little unprofessional to still have them at that time. All the holes are still open for whenever I'd like to replace them however.

I have a Pavlovian distaste for them. Something about metal + human...oozings...just puts me right off. Even ear piercings. They get...funky. Bleh. BLEH.

I only have pierced ears.
I don't mind them on others as long as the person didn't go overboard.

Some piercings can be quite attractive.

Piercings I like:
-Bellybutton (if you got the stomach for it)
-Funky ear piercings
-Studs around the lips and such
-Nipple piercings
-And lately I discovered some odd piercing that goes on dimples of the lower back, pretty neat.

Don't like:
-Any sort of piercing around the nose, just not appealing in my opinion

...uh that's pretty much it with what I don't like. Everything is fine cept nose in my book.

I like them, I have 30, 24 of them can be easily hidden and are most of the time.

Don't think I'll ever get one. Seems odd to pay £20 for some guy to stab me in the face.
Girlfriend really likes them though.

I have 2, both my ears and I plan to get my nose pierced by the end of the year. I also may pierce my bottom lip at some point. Not sure about that one yet.

I like them I guess. I really like jewelry and accessories. Necklaces, braclets, hats, ect. So piercings are just another excuse for me to put more jewelry on myself. I don't have an opinion on them on other people. People can do what they want to their bodies and I won't think any less or more of them because of it.

I would hypothetically date someone with piercings. Skin colour, tattoos, and all that really doesn't matter to me. It is what is in the inside.

This question has been asked a few times on the Escapist and people on here generally dislike piercings and tattoos it would seem.

I used to have one of my ears pierced but it healed over and I just never bothered to have it done again. I like piercings as long as the person doesn't go overboard with them. Something like this just looks weird

I'm not a fan of piercing either and I also think those who had the piercing in other places in their body, must have it so awkward during the first few weeks (until they get used to it).

I don't dig piercings tattoos are much cooler. Ear piercings aren't too bad but butterfly(two in the bottom lip, I think that's what they're called.) piercings are a bit much

I don't have any myself, and don't plan to get any, but I think they can be very attractive if in the right places. Same as tatoos, really.

None myself. I don't mind ear piercings, but anywhere else on the face frankly makes you look like an orc in my opinion.

I don't think I'll ever get any, unless if there is some outside intervention.

From time to time I do find them very attractive I'll admit.

I dislike having permanent body mods since I would quickly get bored of it. Healing a hole in my body/lasers doesn't seem like a great option. A friend of mine has a small subtle one on her nose in the shape of a star. It looks cute on her but I'd never get one myself. I do like them on other people if they don't overdo it though .

I like some. I have my ears pierced, both sides of my nose and side lip. I kinda want more but don't wanna overdo it. I don't really like medusa, monroe and eyebrow. My sister has a "smiley" which creeps me out...google it if you don't know what it is!

Pierced ears on a girl? Lovely, I love earrings. Anything beyond that kind of puts me off...

I do my best not to be prejudiced about people with more piercings than fingers, but in terms of actual physical attraction piercings just put me off.

Got two holes in my left ear(plan to take at least two more there later on) and one in my right eyebrow, which I regret ever taking. 14 years old and stupid... Anyways, not the biggest fan of piercings apart from earrings. Can be pretty hot on girls in some places, but I think you should keep the face area clean of them.
