Good review my man I agree with almost everything you said.
Almost.
My one point of disagreement would be the whole werewolf thing. I came to Skyrim immediately after finishing Solstheim in Morrowind and I have to say that the werewolves of Skyrim are much weaker than those of Morrowind. In Morrowind I could take down legions of guards and high level enemies with my claws and speed (except those dern silver wielding Skaal people), but in Skyrim a decently armed (by that I mean Elven weapons and some steel plate armor) group of bandits or those cursed forsworn would wipe me out in my beast form. I was much more effective in my full Daedric armor (it is sexy in case you've yet to craft it) with a legendary daedric mace in one hand and expert level destruction, illusion and conjuration in the other. Perhaps I was simply too high a level for beast for to be effective and that would be my fault for grinding so hard but I was still disappointed by it. And the transformation sequence wasn't all that spectacular for me but thats nothing big.
I just didn't feel like I received any bonuses in either health or damage from beast form. In fact I feel like I had less health and did less damage.

Thanks. I feel like as I level up my werewolf abilities are less and less useful. But its okay for roleplaying. Some times I just go into beast mode so I can tear apart opponents or assassination targets. Or killing people I hate. You just want to bite their hearts out.
