And I said I may see this one, but I am just cautious because I was dissipointed with On Stranger's Tides.

Sigh, when are we going to get proper pirate movies? I mean, One Piece is fun and all, but variety would be nice. And please keep the mystical stuff on the background. Let the movie for once focus on pirates. Damn, I feel like playing Sid Meier's Pirates now.

First Pirates of the Caribbean remains one of my favorite movies to this day. It's practically a perfect adventure movie. But everything that came after it was just meh and relatively bad. Still fun, kind of, but meh and bad nonetheless. I really doubt that this one will be a return to the form and quality of the first title.

Oh, so they're doing this, huh? Well, trailer doesn't do much for me, some shit really feels recycled, but looks like it shouldn't be worse than 4th part. Bardem is on the deck, that's cool.

and oh hey Jack Sparrow is a background character.

TBH after Stranger Tides, i'm convinced current Johny Depp's Jack Sparrow works better as a supporting character.

See I am an odd person and At worlds end was my favorite pirates movie, but then again I am also the freak who's favorite lord of the rings movie was Return of the King.

I've stated that choosing my favorite Lord of the Rings movie is like asking me to pick a favorite child - they're all great. Return of the King does take the #2 spot for me though.

But At World's End being your favorite? Freak, I say, freak! Cast thee out! ^_^
