The Incredibles. It's the only Pixar movie I have truly disliked. The banter between the characters for most of the movie gets on my nerves, but the Incredibles still has it's moments.

Cars in my opinion, It's like it came from a completely different studio...
This. I had never really had much of an interest in Cars, and only watched it during a very long flight (singapore to London). It had its moments, but it didn't really feel like a pixar film to me. I'm not going to bother with Cars 2.

Maybe because I matured mentally past the age of 11...

That could explain your hyper-sensetivity. I'm not sorry I dislike a crappy (G rated?) movie that you thought was 'Teh Bomb!'

And did I put an 'e' where an 'o' shoul have been? (Sorry, I didn't realizes I was talking to a pre-pubesent grammar nazi, or I would've paid extra special attention to my spelling.)

The world is filled with different opinions kiddo, you would do well to learn not to be a prick about them. Especially over a shitty movie like up.
No, you really didn't. That's the problem. You still think saying you're mature is the same as being mature. Also, and hilariously, you spelled pre-pubescent wrong. AGAIN.

But whether you like it or not, Up is an objectively good movie, the fact that you failed to comprehend how it subtly approaches extremely "heavy" and serious themes such as existentialism, life, loss, grieving, coping, recovery and empowerment while still having more action and emotional highs and lows than the majority of high budget "serious" movies lead me to think that you're either not as smart as you think you are, or trolling.

Let me guess, you saw the cartoon aesthetic and figured "IS A 'TOON! MAEK ME LAUF!", and when the characters didn't start by doing ridiculous and overblown actions or doing slapstick humor, then obviously it was boring! Did you think Michael Bay's Transformers were timeless masterpieces too? Or that Twilight was an incredible novel?

And I was being facetious, but, quoth the raven: "Nevermore".

Bear in mind that I haven't seen more than a few minutes of Cars, so out of the ones I have seen I'm going to go with Up.

Yes the opening 15 minutes were very emotionally gripping, and the ending wasn't bad, but everything in between was so Saturday morning cartoon seen it a million times before run of the mill boring. Out of all of Pixar's movies I really feel Up would have been so much better just as a short lasting no more than maybe 20 minutes.

I haven't seen Ratatoullie or Cars. I would guess if I saw Cars it might be my least favourite, but I haven't.

I saw and loved:
Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, WALL-E, Up
If I had to pick a least favourite it would probably be A Bug's Life.

Cars is my least favourite, but if I had to rate it it'd still get 6/10. I'd a fine movie, I just am not a huge car fan, so didn't get all the references.

well now youve made me curious. which scene are you talking about?
It is very near the start of the movie(probably the reason it ruined the movie for me).
Just after he is done surfing he gets interviewed one of of the last questions goes a bit like this.

Interviewer: So do you do anything else beside surfing?
him: You mean like dancing? (condescending laugh/snort)

It is really short and easy to miss but it broke the movie for me. I do not mind if movies make reference to other movies/ cultural references but do not try to put another movie down that just is childish(probably didn't help that i love happy feet).

My least favourite was Cars...I still liked it, but it just couldn't compare to the toy stories or The Incredibles. Which reminds me: why didn't people like The Incredibles?! that was amazing!!

Seconded both times. Cars was too... simple for a Pixar film and Up is by far my favourite, it is fan-fucking-tastic

I'm absolutely flabbergasted by the amount of people posting The Incredibles as Pixar's worst!

Not only is it Pixar's best movie, it is one of the best movies ever made. I love the 50's Warner Brothers vibe that it emits and the action scenes are terrific. It brings a great homage to superheroes and Bond movies, but at the same time it trumps them all in it's execution. The movie is a perfect example of how animation can be better than live-action and the musical score is fenomenal. Plus the fact that Brad Bird's writing and directing are so wonderfully fast-paced.

I hardly ever blow my stack, but GOOD GOD, WHAT"S WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?

As for Pixar's actual worst movie, I'd say Monsters Inc.. I didn't see Cars though.

The first Toy Story. I just didn't get why the film was anything other than another 'inanimate objects come to live' story. The CGI hadn't blown me away either as I'd already seen similar stuff in videogames.
In 1995? What game had graphics better than Pixar back then?
By then I had a Mega CD. Graphics weren't better[i/], but the FMVs I'd seen on PC, Mega CD, etc meant all Toy Story really was at the time was 1.5hrs of cutscenes in my mind.

I have to agree with him actually. Don't get me wrong, I liked it, it had some great moments (yes, I teared up during the growing old sequence, it was nothing short of beautiful) and the overall point of the movie is great, BUT! I don't think it was directed too well. For all the time I enjoyed it, it felt a little disjointed, lost momentum more than once and felt like some of the things in the movie didn't get enough screen time and didn't warrant their own existence in the movie well enough.

I still consider it a good movie and an enjoyable one, but I can definitely see why someone wouldn't like it and it's certainly not without a flaw even for me.

OT: I think Monsters Inc out of the ones I watched. Felt a bit too "kiddie". Was still fun and I enjoyed it, but ya, on the scale, it rates the lowest. Looking over the list of Pixar's films though, I see Ratatouille that I've never even heard of (funny considering it's not that old) and Cars which while I'm aware of, I just never watched.

Ratatouille, even though it was still pretty good. Just not AS good as a lot of the other gems they've made.
I agree with this.

My favourite is The Incredibles, mostly because I loved each and every character.

Definitely Wall-E, I watched some of it today, and it is Boring with a capital B.

Never seen Cars though, but looking at it, I always thought it to be some stupid kiddie bullshit.

Monsters INC was probably the best one, followed by bugs life. I don't know why I like Bugs life so much, it might just be the nostalgia talking.
