A lot of people argue against Cars, and while it wasn't plotted as well as the other Pixar films, it did have a certain amount of detail that only automotive enthusiasts, especially NASCAR fans, would pick up on.
This is where Cars main problem lies. Outside of america NASCAR is hardly known.
NASCAR is mainly an american sport loved by americans so a movie about it would have not much connection to people unfamiliar with the sport. Without that the movie feels more aimed at kids.

Also what someone else said pixars worse is still in many cases better then some studios best.

I really <3 Wall-E I think it is really great how they could tell such a story with so little spoken text(not until humans come into play anyway).

My thoughts are this:

Favourites: Toy Story 1-3, Monster's Inc, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles - all incredible, hard to choose between them.
Close behind: Up, Wall-E
Least favs: Cars, A Bug's Life

Haven't seen Ratatouille so can't comment.

As already said, the worst of Pixar is by no means bad, but they can't all be perfect.

Wall-E. When you want to deliver a message it should be subtle and not beating you over the head. I had enough of that growing up in the 90's and Captain Planet guilt tripping me into not using spray cans.

How do you mean? Do you mean worst as in the film we like the least? Or do you mean worst as in the one with the least technical and artistic merit? Or do you mean which one had the story with the most problems?
Well, if we're talking the one I dislike the least, it's easily Cars, but really, there was nothing technically wrong with it and the story perfectly internally consistent and had no gaping flaws. It just didn't sit with me because I'm not into anthropomorphized cars. Also, I hate Larry the Cable Guy.
If we're talking the film where the plot had the most problems, it would be Up. Up had some fantastic storytelling going, especially where they give you the life of Carl and his wife all without words (it's hard to tell a story without words and get it to have that much impact; regardless of what you thought of the rest of the film, that sequence shows that people at Pixar have talent). Of all the films, Up had the most elements that threw me off. I'm willing to buy the dogs having talking collars for the sake of the surreality of the film, but why were there so many of them? How is there only one bird in the whole area? That's not ecologically possible. How the hell was Muntz still alive? Why did they feel the need to arbitrarily kill off the villain at the end of the film? Why did this film even need a villain in the first place? I kept thinking about these questions and it distracted me from enjoying the film as much as I could have.

Cars is pixar? I thought that load of crap was dreamworks.

*Sad*
;_;

Second thought: Cars might be the worst everyone seems to agree, but what is the best, THAT is a hard question.

I'm torn between Toy Story 2, and Cars. Guess I'll go with cars though, as Toy Story 2 doesn't exist.

Disclaimer: I didn't see Cars because I heard it was bad and I didn't want to tarnish my opinion of Pixar.

Of the ones I have seen, probably Up. Pixar is known for its movies having a bittersweet tone. I feel that Up was a little too bitter and not quite sweet enough. I was depressed after the first 5 minutes and every single thing that happened from that point on until the final 10 minutes made it a little bit worse. It's probably the only animated movie I've ever seen where I walked out of the theater thinking that it was too serious.

I'll go with either Cars of A Bug's Life, but at least A Bug's Life made me laugh now and then.

However, as others have said, Pixar's worst is by no means bad and in most cases better than most studio's best. I'd rather watch Cars than Avatar. Ugh.

Ratatouille for me. Was not a fan at all, I think I only watched it once. It just seemed to be missing the charm of the other movies. I don't know what it was, but it just felt like it was missing . . . something. I can't place it.

Cars. I won't watch it, it looks too dumb for me. I've like pretty much all the other Pixar movies though.
