So the Pixels film has competely flew over my radar until I recently watched Bob videos on Screw Attack when he used a snippet of it in his video.

If I did used the search page correctly on here, the film trailer hasn't appear on the news here either so I wonder if this trailer has flew over other people radars aswell?

Anyways, what do you think?

As for me, I'm not really too keen on it despite it going to be video game heavy references (I'm assuming) which for me Wreck-it Ralph kind of filled in that step abit (well that part was cameo at best but I still like the original game world Sugar Rush in the film). I'm also not too keen on Adam Sandler either despite I used to liked some of his past films. Granted I did chuckle at the ending (I was expecting Pacman to kill/ eat him).

Wasn't that an episode of Futurama?
Yeah they basically ripped off an episode of Futurama and made it into a full feature length film. I don't mind Adam Sandler, but this is exactly the sort of thing that he does that most people like a little at first, then hate by the middle of the movie. This movie is definitely not going to be another Wreck-It Ralph.

Aw, poor Peter Dinklage. First he was the Dinklebot, nonchalantly informing you that this particular wizard had come from the moon and now he's attached to this, based on the money he's probably making I can understand, but come on man, you're talented!

From what I understand, that episode of futurama was originally based on some short story or something, which is what the movie is also based on. Not that that helps.

OT: I don't mind adam sandler so much as that fat dude from mall cop: I hate that guy and will ultimately wait to rent this movie later than pay good money to see it in a theater.

This...

This looks terrible...

It feels like a joke. Like the kind of joke trailer you see of Collegehumor or something (Remember their Minesweeper: The Movie trailer?). I just... I don't see how this is going to work.

Basically they're doing what Sony Pictures always does, trying to make lightning strike twice. Wreck-It Ralph was a huge success for Disney, so basically Sony Pictures is trying to cash-in on the same kind of nostalgia.
