Despite living in Maryland for 23 years, I haven't been able to check out Poe's grave in Baltimore. I'd also love to visit King's Cross Station.

I've already been to a MAD SCIENCE LAB so my life is complete.
You serious? If so where do you mean? My bet's on CERN, or as frankie Boyle called it, "the black hole machine".

Or maybe you mean the lab where they found out plate armour is heavy. Mad, brilliant stuff there, man.

Actually:

CSIRO of Agriculture in Armidale, NSW, Australia

I:

Nuked flies with intense microwaves to study the mutations: (Extra wings, curled wings, and my personal favourite their antenna became feet)

Studied the rats

Did selective breeding and evolution theory (A box with flypaper at the top and flies, eventually the flies all bred to be wingless)

Did some AWESOME sheep stuff

And saw some amazing stuff with agriculture like: Nuked Corn on the Cob (Fallout Style) and Genetically Modified wheat that pulls nitrates out of the air rather than being fertilized (We only have about 20 years of fertilizers left) And much more healthy and nutritious equivalents.

Oh and a thousand chickens committed suicide so they had to cut the beaks off the survivors with lasers...

GODDAMN LASERS.

Mad science enough mates?

I'm an ancient, classical and medieval studies student so anywhere with a good ruin will get my engine revving ;P. But seriously I'd love to go to Greece, Venice (wanted to visit the latter BEFORE Assassins Creed did..)and have recently been advised Rome by one of my site supervisors.

San Francisco/America in general, for the GDC.

Also my captcha thingy says "rhyming slang", I think it's trying to take the mick out of me.

When I was in Japan last month, I went on a 7 hour train journey just to visit Shirakawa, the town where the anime Higurashi no naku koro ni was set.

I tell you now, it was well worth it.

I've previously followed the path of the protagonists of
around the UK. Obviously I had to skip the bits where they cross over into Tír na nÓg but the rest of it was very interesting.

As for where I'd like to visit? Prypiat, Ukraine. It's been used so many times in video games so accurately (created from photographs) that I feel like I've already been there. I want to see the places that inspired the settings.

Also: Sarajevo; Kane's holy city.

Rome, Italy. Asscreed made me want to visit Europe a LOOOT.
it always sounds weird to hear people saying about 'visiting europe', it takes me a second to realise that they are american...

i seem to get deluded into forgetting that Europe isn't the only place on earth... even though i can be talking to Americans

I was just in Rome and Florence and counted all the different buildings that Ezio or Altair could jump of off.
I also went to London, tons of Dr.Who materials there.
Speaking of Assassin's creed, I've actually been to Damascus, Syria as well as Masyaf (before I even heard of the first game though); both are awesome cities for their rich history and cool architecture.

OT: I want to go to every place ever mentioned in adventure films/games since I love ancient history and legends
