Its considered a noob gun, since you don't even have to aim, just spray it.

Actually it's considered that because it's not very good at all.

It does 150 damage per projectile and fires 300 rounds per minute.
By comparison, the default Vanu LMG does 142 damage per projectile and fires 750 rounds per minute.

The splash effect it has is somewhat unique but deals only 75 damage which tickles at best.

You're right, it doesn't require even basic aiming skills. But for anyone who does have even basic aiming skills basically any other gun is better as you can miss half your shots and still do more damage as someone hitting every single shot (direct hits only, if it's splash damage you're dealing the other person could miss 80% of their shots).
