Well, there's a 14-day free trial, but that's it otherwise, the keys are only giving us 30 days free I think anyway.

Follow the zerg in a big platoon, that will get you lots of xp, find the biggest fight you can, and make sure you're in the sphere of influance, and hang about for the full cap to gain loads of XP.Mazty said:

Oh, and I hope you arnt using the Decimator or striker on troops! It does barely any damage, they are for MAX suits and vehcles. Though the striker is very good at unsuspecting aircraft, just make sure you keep the crosshair on at all times, as if it goes off, the missiles lose track instantly and wont reattach (and reloading breaks lock too)
For cheap kills, use plasma and frag grenades in tower fights (3 second fuse, bounce them down the stairs, or go on impact for one flight - use your radar to see where the enemy is, but don't rely 100% on it) or use the punisher rifle that has an grenade launcher on it (press X to change ammo type)
You can download it for free, but you need to activate a Game Key in order to play. You can get trial keys for 14 day play, so you can try it out, not sure where though, someone else know?urprobablyright said:

I'm still waiting on a Reserves pick. Hopefully my impatient entry into a 14 day trial won't hinder that.

As a word of advice, don't put escapist in your name. I actively hunt anyone with Boing Boing or RockPaperShotgun in their name, and they'll likely do the same.

2) If you have your key and are in the Outfit with a name other than your Escapist handle, PM me the name you're using in-game. Put 'Planetside Alias' in the subject line of the PM.

4) If you're on the reserves and haven't created a 14-day trial yet, please do so to ensure we get any troubleshooting out of the way early in case you get a key later. Assuming we can squeeze some replacement keys out of Sony in a timely fashion, we'll be making our picks out of the 'Ready Reserves' list so we don't run into a similar problem of a key being consumed for someone unable to run the game. Being on the 'Ready Reserves' list is not a guarantee of getting a key, as there will likely still be many more of you than keys, but not being on that list puts you behind those that are.

I'm come to apologise, as on Sunday my computer went mad and blue-screen-of-deathed itself to death (well, until it messed itself up quite badly) and my router blew itself up, (both likely caused by a power surge), so although my computer is fine, my router is in a sorry state, and therefore I can't get in until it's sorted, and I don't yet know when that will happen or even what needs to be done.
