With my birthday coming up soon (20 on the 14th of February if you were curious), I have started to think about what I want to do. While faffing about here, I started wondering what my fellow Escapist were planing for their upcoming birthdays.

So, if you are planing anything, what are you planing for your birthday?

Me, I hope to spend the day with Mr. Boyfriend watching movies (so far I've picked The Blues Brothers and A Bronx Tale) and in place of a birthday cake, get a Junior's cheesecake (the boyfriend got one for his birthday, and seeing as it was really good and it means I won't have to bake a cake, it seems like a good idea).

well my birthday just passed and I had an Evil Dead themed b-day. My cake looked like the Necronomicon, I got a Bruce Campbell doll and I watch Evil Dead movies and read the comics all day.

Next Year I thinking its going to be Fallout themed with a Vault Boy cake and stuff.

My cake this year.

My birthday's not for another ten months so I don't really know what I'll do. Probably just go to a bar with friends or something

18th birthday. That being said, McDonalds and Lazer Tag.

A few years back I had a brilliant party at McDonalds, complete with formal wear, a dining cloth, fine china, ect. The employees even played along a bit. Good times! Thinking about hitting up a different venture for the same kind of thing. Oh, making the sundae is just too good to pass up. And have you ever tried one of McDonalds birthday cakes? Damn, I'm embarrassing myself with joy.

I also know of someone who shares the same birthday as me, and we had a joint party that was pretty exciting a while ago. ...joint as in dual. A lot of my closer friends share the same month (we're may-flowers, tee-hee-hee) so, a massive-super-mega-remix-party has been suggested and is in the works. Maybe my company and I are a bit too festive, but that's the way I like it. Oh you should hear about Christmas! This year I bought one of my friends (a girl) a second-hand chain-saw. I painted a portrait of Buzz Lightgear for another. God, I get worked up over holidays. Anyway, have a nice one. Happy Birthday! Don't drink and drive!

Crap I just had my birthday 6 days ago, and now I have to think of what I am going to do on my next one. Well seeing as it is going to be my 21'st my dad has basically promised me that I will get very drunk that night. My dad owns a bar and he said he's going to take me there and I will be getting shots from just about everyone there. If I had to take a guess that will be what my party would be like :p

um... my 23rd...

That's in June on the 8th, so it's highly likely that I will be at Download with my sister at that time.

Though, it's just throwing idea's around, she's defiantly going by the looks of things, and I'm looking to go to another festival this year, and i have the funds to do so, so...I may do.

June 25th. I was going to see Roger Waters perform The Wall at Scotiabank Place with my friend. Now it looks like I'll be going alone.

My 22nd was last week, but unfortunately that nagging feeling of wanting to do well in my masters got in the way. We'll just be going for curry, few drinks and then on the lash at some point. Good old fashioned fun.

I'll be 21 in August so God knows what the hell I will be doing. All I know is that I will drink copious amounts of alcohol and see where that takes me.

Not a special age but my birthday is coming up on the 6th next month. I'm probably going to catch a movie with my friends but the gift I want to get from my parents will be amazing.

Roger Water's The Wall Live. I want to go with one of my friends and damn it's going to be awesome.

You really don't. I mean, who's going to scold you for not having a conventional birthday party?

OT: I've got til mid-November to figure out what I'm doing, but it'll probably end up being me going to the shooting range, which I do pretty much every week or so anyways.

Make him bake this cake
Mississippi Mud Cake
Ingredients:
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 cup self rising flour
1 1/2 cup pecans (optional)
4 sticks of butter
2/3 cup of cocoa
2 tablespoons of vanilla extract
1 7oz jar of mashmellow cream
1 pound of powder sugar
1/2 cup of can milk

Instructions:
Combine first four ingredients and 3 sticks of butter, 1/3 cup of cocoa and 1 tabelspoon of vanilla in large bowl, mix well
Pour into 9X13 pan and bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes
spread marshmellow cream over hot cake and let cool
mix powdered sugar, can milk, 1 stick of butter, 1/3 cup of cocoa, 1 tabelspoon of vanilla into a bowl, then spread over cake
If I can make it, he can make it.

I really want the cheesecake (they're really good) and the boyfriend can't go into the kitchen without breaking something/setting something on fire/exploding something, so it's no real biggie (ok, so I don't like the walk to the place, but oh well).
