Plants vs. Zombies

I think I got this game about a week ago. Since then my days have been a haze of repetitive and addictive music, planning my own survival in the event of zombie attacks, sleepless nights of tossing and turning in my bed with nothing but MJ Zombie dancing haunting my every waking thought.
This game is so addictive, it's crazy.

Ok, ok - This game is basically about the player fending off a Zombie invasion. With the use of your garden allies. It plays just like a tower-defense game except there are between 5 and 5 lines to defend rather than creating your own path. If the zombies get through your defenses... they eat your brains. This means game over and you have to restart the level.

One awesome example of the humor is in the "help" section on the front page...

I'd actually recommend you try it. I remember thinking this is gonna be another cutesy cuddle fest, with the large smiley plants and the evil Zombies, but it's actually a lot more than that.
It's a good time waster, and incredibly witty and original - something rarely seen in games nowadays.

I think I will have to check it out. I'm always keen to try out games like this but the ads I saw for it didn't appeal to me. This is the first opinion I've actually heard on it.

it's hard not to sound like I work for PopCap when I say you really should give it a go. And I don't... it's just so so entertaining.

I think if you're a hardcore gamer it'd take a little getting used to, but it's a nice break from heavy fps's and hardcore fantasy MMORPG's

Buy it, but off of Steam not the PopCap site it's half the price on Steam, as I found out the day after buying. -_-

If Steam offered a free trial, I'd be all over this.

But I've learned my lesson; I don't buy games online unless I get a free trial.
