I have a friend that I?ve known since high school and for as long as I can remember she?s wanted to have plastic surgery done for breast enlargements.
So here are my questions:
Have you thought about having plastic surgery done? If so, what for?
Have you had any plastic surgery done? If so, what for?
Do you know of anyone who has had it done?
What are your personal views of plastic surgery?

And I think unless you've been an accident and have been serverely scarred or something similiar or have some kind of deformaty (sp?) then it's pretty shallow to get it done.

Have you thought about having plastic surgery done? If so, what for? I've thought of altering my face because I am just too damn ugly
Have you had any plastic surgery done? If so, what for? nope
Do you know of anyone who has had it done? nope
What are your personal views of plastic surgery? It's just a commodity, if people want it then they can have it.

Yes

Most girls (at least the ones I know) always complain about something that isn't right about them, no matter how pretty they actually are. I guess it's in their nature. I think plastic sugerery should only be done in extreme cases, like when you burned part of your face, or like Astoria wisely said, when you have an enourmous scar or deformity.

Besides, I don't think she'd enjoy living with the fact her breast size is completely fake.

Just tell her not to get them too big. Really big fake boobs are a turn off. But a little bit can be done quite nicely and look natural.

No I haven't but since i'm thinking about it now I'd get two extra arms.
No I haven't
Yea, my aunt gets work done every now and then. Whatever, it makes her feel better about herself.
If you have the money do what you want.

Slightly unhappy with my nose. It's not huge, but I think it's a bit too big for my face. I won't do it though. It has just crossed my mind.

Have you had any plastic surgery done? If so, what for?
Nope.

Nope.

I think it should be done for helping people who are left disfigured after an accident, not for vanity.

I spent about 10 seconds contemplating breast implants, then I realized it'd be tough to play basketball with my chest bouncing up and hitting me in the face when I went for a rebound.

I don't know anybody who's had it done and if someone really wants to do that to themselves then if that's what they really want.

1) I've never considered it. I'm quite happy with my physical appearance.
2) I've never had it done.
3) I don't know of anyone that has had it done.
4) People are free to do as they please, so it does not bother me.

I'm not interested in getting plastic surgery, but I have had it done for some repairs regarding tendon damage in my hand.

A lot of people are quote narrow-minded about what plastic surgery is capable of, and what good it can do. It's not just for shallowly improving looks.

Yes, I've half considered getting breast implants, but if I do, I'll wait until I have enough money to get a good job done. I doubt I ever will though.
No.
No.
I feel like if the reason you're doing it is for you, rather than to impress other people, then go right ahead. If I was to ever get my boobs done, it'll be because I think larger breasts would be hot, not because I'm trying to impress anyone.

I'll admit that when done very well, it makes a positive impact, and it can be useful in fixing what one thinks of as imperfections to their body. But when it isn't done well, it sticks out and looks plain hideous. We all know several celebrities with terrible jobs done.

I'll probably seriously consider getting a breast lift when I'm in my late forties or so. I don't want to have larger breasts but they probably won't be a perky anymore. Other than that I don't think I could ever bring myself to.

Facial plastic surgery is terrifying. I don't want to look in the mirror one day and have somebody else's face.

1. Yes, cosmetic dental surgery.
2. Yes! Cosmetic dental surgery.
3. Quite a few of my friends have had breast implants.
4. I think it's perfectly okay, as long as you are fully aware self confidence comes from within. If you're using cosmetic surgery as a way of improving self esteem, you may be disappointed. That said, the best plastic surgeons will always incorporate a session or two of therapy to deem your suitability for any enhancement procedures.

Plastic surgery...well...elective surgery in general always seemed really creepy to me.

And that's without all the horrific and/or funny-when-it-happens-to-someone-else things that can go wrong.

Know OF? Yes. Know personally? No.

What are your personal views of plastic surgery?
It's completely unnesscary. Vanity in it's purest form. Cosmetic surgery should be limited to removing vestigial limbs, cancerous growths, third breasts, that sort of thing. As a guy, I really don't understand the thought process behind a woman wanting larger, fake tits. I really don't. Most of them look horrendous and serve no other purpose than landing some trollop a seat on a casting couch in PornLand. Not saying I'm against porn or trollops, it just makes no sense to me.

That said, each to thier own. If I were to undergo surgery, it would be to repair my eyesight back to 20/20 (or better) or to straigthen my teeth.

As long as they're not hurting anybody, people are free to do what they bloody well please. What gives anybody the right to look down on someone just because they want a breast enlargement or a bit of work on a body part they're not happy with? Particularly if they're paying for said plastic surgery with their own money.

Plastic surgery can also be used to help those who have been injured/disfigured in accidents and the like. Also, women with ridiculously over large breasts can get reduction surgery so that they don't suffer the debilitating back pain associated with said monstrous breasts.

Most girls complain about being ugly because either they're begging for a compliment and a confidence boost. Or they know they're attractive, but want to seem modest, and don't want to put guys off with arrogance, or because they read shit like Heat where they are presented with beautiful, glossy women and can't see how pretty they are.
I know the girls on a TV show in the UK called Beauty and the beast are full of shit because they actually make an effort to dress up and plaster make-up on themselves so they obviously find themselves attractive. Coming from someone who has major self confidence issues, I don't bother wearing make-up because "you can't polish a turd."

But I digress... sometimes I've got really upset over my fugly nose but the thought or surgery scares me.
My mums friend had breast implants and regularly has botox. I don't think he looks very nice.
I have nothing against plastic surgery, but I think it's a shame we have to look a certain way to be deemed socially acceptable. As long as people don't go too overboard (I'm thinking Jackie Stallon D:) I see no reason people should want to feel more confident in themselves.
