A friend of my mom has had breast reduction because of life long chronic back pains. Another friend of my mom had something done with her eyelids.
The mother of my sister's boyfriend is 48 and looks like a total freak. Facelift, nosejob, teeth, botox, boobjob, the whole shebang.

What are your personal views of plastic surgery?

Unless it's reconstructive, i feel it shows what dumb and shallow minded people we are.

Do you know of anyone who has had it done? Yes a hardcore christian I used to go to school with had breast implants for her 18th birthday

What are your personal views of plastic surgery? Doesn't bother me what other people do, as long as they know the risks and it's for good reasons.

For a long time when I was younger I wanted a nose job cos of my huge snose. Its only after maturing and realising that I'm beautiful just the way I am that I decided against it. That, and I realised how expensive it is. And saw the movie Awake. Shudder.

I don't like the idea of plastic surgery, doesn't feel right to have something unnatural beneath your skin.

What are your personal views of plastic surgery? Reconstructive surgery makes heaps of sense. Surgery for vain middle aged housewives with too much money and insecurity complexes - not so much

And I think unless you've been an accident and have been serverely scarred or something similiar or have some kind of deformaty (sp?) then it's pretty shallow to get it done.
