Platform exclusive games.

I only have one console (Xbox), it's the best console for what I want to do and I'm happy with it. I know there's plenty of people like me, who had to choose between PS3 and Xbox, and chose the one they wanted more. And to be honest, most games are multi-platform these days anyway, so there's not a huge difference there.

But I can almost guarantee that there'll be at least one game that's exclusive to the other platform that you want. So what is it?

For me it's Infamous and Little Big Planet. I was slightly put out what I saw that PSN users get tham FREE as part of the whole PSN disaster recently.

So, what game or games do you want that are exclusive to whatever console you DON'T have.

For simplicity sake we'll keep this just between the consoles. If a game is on Xbox and PC, assume it's an Xbox exclusive.

There's a great deal of RPG's on the PS3 I had to just give up on, too many to name, and it's been really rough, I make up for it by telling myself that if the next generation of consoles actually does happen, Im jumping on board with sony.

The xbox is a fine console in every regard, but the PS3 has alot more exclusive content that seems to cater to my taste =\.

Edit: Im actually getting LBP and modnation racers for the psp cus I have one xD..not as good as the actual PS3 versions, but free's free.

Infamous, LBP (and LBP 2), Heavy Rain, God of War, and Demons' souls.
...I'm quite jealous of the PS3's stable of exclusives.

Meh. I'm sure there must be a fair few cheap PS3's floating about the internet after the recent debacle, and it's about time I got a blu-ray player anyway. Might just get one after my birthday.

Oh yeah, I forgot about Heavy Rain. Wasn't that bothered by the God of War series and as for Demon's Souls . . . . meh. If I had a PS3 I'd probably look into it but I'm by no means considering buying one just for it.

I own an Xbox and my roommate owns a PS3 so I suppose I do have both consoles, speaking strictly from an xbox standpoint though I'd probably want Little Big Planet 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4

My only gaming platform is a PC.

However, when The Last Guardian comes out, I am buying a PS3. Period.

Also, a TV to plug it into.

Nothing is going to stop me from playing that game.

I have a PS3 and I've wanted to play Metro 2033 for a while. It's not exclusive to either PC or xBox, but you can't get it for PS3.

To be perfectly honest, I don't think there are any X-Box exclusives that really appeal to me. I can either get them for the PC anyway, or don't care about them.

PS3: Killzone series
XBOX360 (I have one): Gears of War, Metro 2033, Ghost Recon, Halo. Yeah, I think I have the right console for me.

I have both consoles but much prefer the 360 (not trying to start any console wars - I just prefer the controller, okay?), so any cross-platform games I get tend to be for that, meaning that the only PS3 games I own are exclusives.

I mainly bought the PS3 for LittleBigPlanet and Gran Turismo 5 - although I think the fact that it was pretty much the cheapest BluRay player available at the time may have helped me justify the purchase ;)

I recommend the Total War series for the PC.

I don't know if the PC counts as a platform, but I thought I'd just throw that in there.

The Witcher 2

That game would probably look like a crumpled up flipbook if I tried to run it on my system.

I own a PS3 and kind of wish I could use an Xbox 360 controller with it instead of the PS3 controller. I myself have always wanted to try out FPS games on the console rather than the PC and I have always found that I can navigate in the games better with the 360 controller. However for fighting games like Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter, the D-Pad on the PS3 controller is 100x better than the one one the 360 controller. So basically I want a PS3 compatible controller that is laid out like the 360 controller, with a proper D0Pad on it. IS that too much to ask? :p

i like PC exclusive games, because it draws attention to a new way to play, and allows the industry to grow. if you can choose between getting a good-quality PC game, or its console port, people would probably choose the port if they arent already PC gamers. if you take the port away, but it's living up to hype and is excellent, then people are more likely to branch out.
but if you already have a strong userbase and are still thriving with multi-platform games (like the PlayStation and the XBox) then dont. just dont release exclusives. no.

I've seen third party 360 style controllers for the PS3... even a nifty one that the D-pad and stick can be switched.

OT: I own PS3, Left 4 Dead, Mass Effect 1, and XBL arcade games.

The only one I don't own is the 360. There are a few games like Alan Wake, Halo and Fable that i want, but can't play of course. But really, I won't buy a whole console for just a few games.

...maybe once this gen ends and they're selling them off for cheap.
