Funny. Actually a good friend of mine just re-hooked up his nes again. (note: duck hunt gun doesn't work on plasmas :( ) And being 29 years old the games that we used to play at 12 are actually alot harder then the games that are released today. It's weird how older games are so simplistic but when you play then they feel like true video games. I can't really describe it.

A sniper mission on Timesplitters 2. Couldn't do it, went back a couple years later and completed it flawlessly.

It was on Resident Evil 3, before I had access to the internet - some riddle I got stuck at for years. Some day it just came to my mind, I hadn't even thought about the game for years. Weirdly, it was just a few seconds before I was going to fall asleep that I found the solution. Don't ask me why.

Metroid 2: the return of samus for the original gameboy. I could never figure out how to get around the puzzles when I first bought it.

Just beat Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland for the GBA. As a kid I got close, but could never beat the final boss in his final form. Then, I crushed it in one sitting on saturday.

Also, I managed to beat Mega Man 2-3 as a kid no problem, but I can't beat them now without state saving.
I have the SAME problem. I think it's because I rage quit much easier than when I was 7.
