All the best ones are nearly all mentioned.

Ape Escape is in my opinion the best playstation one game ever, with Crash Team Racing coming in a close second (completed that game up to and over 100% at least three times).

Crash 2 & 3, Spyro 2, Rayman 2, FF7 & 8 are the other epics.

Croc the legend of the gobbos? I dunno. I mean it got that fancy red border back in the day although it hasn't been re-released on the psn. But a bugs life has. Seriously.
I have that but I never really got into it all that much. Played it a few times, and every time I get bored and stopped after a few levels.

And yeah, the PS One Classics section is weird. So many great games to choose from, and then come up with weird crap that nobody wanted when back when it was a new PS1 game.

Spyro, Croc, Crash, Colony Wars, Parasite Eve, Gran Turismo, Tomba!, Brave Fencer Musashi, Ace Combat, Ape Escape, Resident Evil, Syphon Filter, Bust A Groove, Tomb Raider and pretty much everything else that I have in my closet that I can't look over and see right now. Essentially the games that created the entire current generation of games.

Gods damn Future Cop! L.A.P.D!!! I cannot tell you how much I lusted after this games when I was a kid. All we ever had was a demo (demos being all the rage back then) and it was the most fun freakin' game I can think of outside Spyro 2.

Speaking of Spyro, my girlfriend recently picked up the original in it's original case, manual, cover art and with a disc that is completely unscathed for about 5 bucks AUD. U jelly?

Wild Arms 1 and 2 (love the music in these - very well composed)

Front Mission 3 and 4 (I don't really have a preference although I loved the turn based mech combat and freedom of builds you had - It was neat in 3 how you could hijack enemy vehicles too)

Metal Gear Solid - 'nuff said

Special Ops - all of them - very realistic I thought. One shot usually would kill you outright. Stealth was a must.

Jet Moto 2 - why wont Sony bring this gem back. It's seriously one of the best racing games I've ever played.

Xenogears - The first PS1 RPG I ever played (even before FF7) and it blew my mind. Actual hand drawn cutscenes? A plot that takes a little effort to follow? I consider this one of my most "formative" gaming experiences and a key reason I am such an uber-nerd to this day.

Tenchu - Ninja stealth? It's an awesome game. Imagine how bad I felt about Tenchu Z...

Einhander - Brought back memories of Life Force and showed how classic side-scrolling will always be a relevant way to game. Also, the scoring was beyond intense!

Final Fantasy 7-9 - Do I really have to explain anything about these games?

MDK - The humor actually worked for me, the game was funny with plenty of action and some really fun puzzle elements.

Tenchu Stealth Assassins- This game really made me feel like a ninja

Megaman Legends 1 & 2- I didn't play 1 until much later in life, but I owned 2 as a kid and played it to death.

Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter- This. Was. My. Sh**! Before MVC, (and after X-men vs Street Fighter, which was also awesome.)there was this sweetness.

Evil Zone- Most of my friends have no clue what this is, but it's still one of the most fun and over the top fighters I've ever played (with some hilarious voice acting)

Megaman Legends -- Just awesome. And Tron Bonne is a cutie. ;)

Metal Gear Solid -- Had it all. Awesome acting, awesome music, awesome graphics, and awesome combat. Though my personal hatred to getting up the communications tower...

Tekken 3 -- THE best 3D fighting game ever. And Forest Law's theme is badass.

Quake 2 -- My first FPS, and it kicks ass.

Ah, the original Playstation. Memories of being a young child, sitting on a large couch in a modified bus-house in the back of the woods, slipping Spyro the dragon into the PS2, and speedrunning all the way to the end credits in just four hours because we didn't have a memory card. How I cried when our original playstation stopped working.

Spyro original trilogy FTW.

38 posts and only 2 mentions of Legend of Dragoon. /sadface.

Needless to say, Legend of Dragoon is my favorite game of all time.

Also played FF7, Megaman X4 and X5. Good games. :)
