I think you're right, though I hadn't joined PS+ yet. Matter of fact I think I saw Deus Ex for download this morning when I was updating. Makes it worth paying the little extra

I have been an xbox fan since its inception but the last few weeks have me seriously thinking of converting. I am not 100% sure to what, pc gaming, the new playstation or maybe even waiting for the new steam machine but I do not want to go near xbox unless they change what they are doing.
I feel a little bit betrayed which is weird cause I am not a fan boy or anything close. (the controllers were more comfortable to be honest in my view) but it just seems wrong what they are doing and I will if I have to vote with my cash. Its as simple as that.

I may still be on the fence about this console generation, but Sony definitely beat Microsoft at E3. It wasn't even a fair fight.
OT: Not only did Sony burn Microsoft badly with this video, Sony Sega Saturn'd them just like back when the Sega Saturn was announced and Sony undercut them by $100. Ah seems we've gone in full circle, Nintendo being Nintendo, Microsoft being like Sega in the console race, and Sony burning the competition.

Come on people, we all know the xbones gonna sell loads. The people who are the most vocal about hating it are a very small minority of consumers who will buy it. I doubt it will sell as much as the 360, and the PS4 will out sell it. But it will still sell a load.
It did, and then there are the many sales too. Not as amazing as the Steam sales or some of the Nintendo eShop sales, Super Metroid was $0.30 the other day, but it's still pretty good. I have PS+ right now and the pricing is really good if you ask me. What majorly put me off the Live service was that it raised in price and the MS point system was stupid. I know they are getting rid of the points, but I'm not getting an Xbox One so it doesn't matter.TheSniperFan said:

So, to be able to enjoy Dark Souls II (still a disappointingly lazy and silly name), I'd have to pay ~60 bucks in a currency into an account that isn't my proper one... but I'd get 'free' games for it in return, which would lead to me buying even less games, as the last time around, PS+ mostly gifted me games I already bought... ah, all this planning just to escape being put into some random drawer just because of my current country of residence. Quite annoying, that. But, seeing how some of my pre-bought DLC for not-so special editions of games plain refused to be downloaded on say, non-US accounts AND US accounts, one because of the non-US nature of my account, the other seemingly on my non-US location. And that's just not the sort of spy stuff I want to be bothered when ALL I WANT TO DO IS PLAY GAMES.
