Playstation Network hacked again?!?!

Apparently, PSN users around the world keep getting signed out and receiving an error code. It happened to me a few hours ago, and then it worked. Then signed me out again. Anyone else getting this?

Jesus. I love how now when people get signed out of PSN, they assume that it was hacked. My internet wasn't working earlier. I wonder if the internet was hacked.

Yeah, I heard Sony's experiencing some sort of trouble all round North American and European servers with it or something.

I find it a little funny to be perfectly honest, but if it turns into another round of hacking I'll likely get frothing mad again.

I agree, when it happened I popped onto the PS blog, hundreds of comments about it. Should have known better, just a bunch of people whining. It really gets on my nerves, especially the 'sick of sony being hacked every week, gonna sell/destroy my PS3 and buy an XBOX' blah blah blah

Although the lack of info from SONY was kind of annoying, I'm going to guess they'd rather work on the problem than guess what it is, especially after last time...

I highly doubt it. Have you tried manually checking for console updates? I know I had to do one yesterday. The servers do have troubles from time to time, so screaming "OMG HACKED DRAMA DRAMA" the second you get an error message probably isn't the most intelligent way to go about things.

I doubt it's hacking, so don't get paranoid. But if it is hacking, hopefully this will help people see how bullshit proprietary networking is. Having your console reduced to a brick with lights on it because the network is down is no fun.

I forgot to mention that it is back up and running, has been for a couple of hours. SONY just haven't told us why it happened yet but I agree with twistedheat15, it was probably just some screw up with the recent update. Either the firmware or the PS Store update.
