Playstation Plus? You biting?

Playstation Plus went live yesterday and I have to admit that I'm intrigued. 50$ a year doesn't seem like a bad deal(375dkk where I'm at), since that's pretty much the price of a band new game on disc.
This month's deal doesn't really sell it to me since I already have WipeOut HD and LittleBigPlanet, but I will not rule out that I'll jump on board later on. Apart from discounts and "free"(you'll still pay to be able to get them) games the promise of early demoes, betas and trials doesn't hurt either, but then again, I think I'll wait and see how it developes. If it goes like it usually does the danish store will be getting demoes and preview videos 6 months after the game launched, thus making the service a waste of my money. We'll see.

I'm going to give it a shot. The only thing that puts me off is the fact that if your subscription runs out, everything you've gotten with the discounts or from being a plus member are essentially taken away from you.

Still, got to give it a try.

Not intrigued in the slightest. Already paying for xbox live I dont really need another subscription i dont have time to utilize.

It does seem a little redundant. I mean a couple of discounts with PLUS? Well obviously you'd save money if you didnt get PLUS anyway so technically in a way...you're paying more for a game with money off, than if you did with a free account.

And besides, if it's free why pay for Plus? I can live without the added discounts and free stuff.

I'm not paying them a penny to rent games. Discounted crap is still crap and I can still play my Street Fighter online for free. No interest and see this as nothing short of a scam.

No, I won't be getting it. I hardly use my consoles for online games any more. Now I just stick to my PC.

At least they're giving you some games to go with it, can't Live has ever done that for me. However, I find myself already quite satisfied with the things on PSN without plus. Sure, I don't have LBP or Wipeout HD, but I've never been too intrigued by them. I will likely get it at some point, but not just yet.

I don't usually like DLC, so I really don't care about Plus. For me it's really not worth it. That, and I find taking content away from you when you cancel your subscription rather nasty.

Nope. I already pay for Xbox Live and hardly play anything on the PS3. Maybe if the PS3 was my lead console I'd consider it, but the main thing I have Xbox Live for is online gaming - and the PS3 already offers that for free.

I rarely buy things from the store so i won't bother with this, since the internet is free anyway i see no point payin so i can get things for free from the store.
