There are surprisingly few bananas in the Monkey Island games.

And monkeys come to think of it. That being said I've only played 2 of them and I've not finished either.

In association with the mention of monkeys and bananas in games (or not in games, for that matter), I would like to point out that the notion of Gazuga, Lord of the Cleansing and leader of the Army of the Undead and Possibly Brain-Damaged...came from a gaming magazine that was based in California. Not an important point, but they DO have bananas in CA, correct?

I enjoyed it.

We had banana's in my back yard my whole life basically (Age 5-17 minus a 3 month interum between houses that we lived in a hotel) and I don't like them. It's frustrating. Mangos too.

We had literally hundreds of fresh mangos to the point that we had to slice them and dry them because we couldn't eat them fast enough (I didn't eat them, I don't like them, but all my friends and family did) and now I live on the other side of the country and the "super high quality" ones are worse than the shit you find on the ground back home... there's no fresh fruit in WA.

I quite like bananas but have a fairly small window between "not ripe enough" and "too ripe" in which I enjoy them.


Hard to believe people once had to be told not to refrigerate bananas.
